Is this any good to drain oil out of sump

I used an oil pan to catch the draining oil then transferred it into this container so it could be disposed of correctly. Check the quantity of oil to be drained. I think this is a 6lt container. Worked well for me as I was working on a motorcycle.

Can you please tell me the width of the cap opening

I got another petrol container from halfords same size .I can't give you exact measurements as gave it to my daughter .next time I'm around I will measure it .would measure the other one but that's gone walkys. Get back to you vi Amazon email
