Very good energy/sports drink alternative
I ordered these drinks to try and reduce my sugar intake from energy drinks. Can't do without my caffeine though so I thought I'd give these a try. The cans themselves look nice enough. Not overly fancy but that's okay. It's what's inside that counts. First taste impression: a lot less sweet than my usual go to. Very fruity, almost like cider without the alcohol. I would say they're rather refreshing. What I noticed since then is that I still get my caffeine boost but I don't crash later in the day. I don't get cravings for sweets either. No upset stomach. It says to have 1 per day but I decided to try 2. No ill effects but no additional benefits either except for the fact I'm drinking more fluids so 1 a day it is. The size is just right for me. My usual is larger and I often don't finish them. Anything smaller and I'm not satisfied. I would say if you want something more refreshing and not just sweet, give these a go. I like them a lot and would order again.

A pleasant enough flavour, but then there's the bitter aftertaste...
I was quite interested in these for use at the gym, given that they're low calorie, contain caffeine and are isotonic to boot. And initially, things seemed promising, as it's got a nice enough peachy taste. But then the bitter aftertaste kicks in, and sticks around for far longer than it should. In fact, long enough to put me off drinking any more! With my partner experiencing exactly the same when she tried it, sadly I don't think we'll be looking to buy any more in the future.

Tastes great
This tastes really nice. I use it as a pre workout drink and it definitely gives me an energy boost for my work out.

Aftertaste-heavy, not a joy to drink
Years ago I drank so much Red Bull that I think I turned my body against it and now I can’t touch the stuff. So for those times when I really need a bit of a refresher both mentally and physically, I’m still looking for an option that tastes good, is not too unhealthy, and gives me a real pick-up, without breaking the bank. On all of those points, for me these cans score ‘OK’ rather than ‘good’. I got the ‘peach mandarin’ flavour, and the taste is OK. With hindsight, I wish I’d ordered any one of the four other flavours on offer, because the peach flavouring is probably the one that masks the rest of the ingredients the least. I’m not a fan of sugar alternatives generally, but stevia is the one I can normally tolerate- however the sweetness level of this drink is a little odd, it’s neither truly sweet but neither is it natural, and the confusing sweetness level plus the over-complex peach flavouring gives something that’s light and fairly easy to drink, but not all that enjoyable. I’m not a fan of the aftertaste, which reminds me of paracetamol. I’ve been trying to work out which ingredient that aftertaste comes from, and I’m not sure, but I don’t like it. It’s not too unhealthy as far as I can see. The ingredients list looks absolutely shocking at first until you realise it’s in multiple languages, but even then it’s still seven lines long and full of chemical- and artificial-sounding names that make you wonder how ‘clean’ the claim of ‘clean caffeine’ really is. The ingredients list, like the taste, feels like it’s been over-complicated somehow. It feels fairly refreshing, like most soft drinks do, but I don’t get the ‘zing’ from this that I would normally feel from a coffee, or previously from a Red Bull. Technically the caffeine levels are up there, but somehow it doesn’t seem to land right for me. It might be that I’ve been drinking it slowly because I don’t enjoy the taste that much, maybe if I necked it more urgently I would get more of a kick out of it. But if I were in a supermarket looking for the instant pick-me-up I will need to recover after a long boring session of being in a supermarket, I would go for a coffee in a can over this, for sure. At time of writing it’s just under two quid per can, which isn’t too unusual for energy drinks nowadays, but considering what’s in it and the benefits it offers, it does end up feeling a little bit steep. I think I’d probably have enjoyed the ‘sour grape’ or ‘orange burst’ flavours more, but this ‘peach mandarin’ pack hasn’t really won me over at all.

It's ok, but I prefer others
I don't want to sound harsh but the Peach Mandarin drink is a bit mediocre. The flavour is ok, drinkable but not enjoyable. The effect is the same as any other energy drink. It's ok, it does the job, it's just a little 'meh'. I'd put it in the same category as some of the other well known brands and a bit better than the cheap energy drinks. Some of the cheap energy drinks give me quite poor 'come downs' whereas it isn't quite so dramatic with this which is a big plus. Whether that's because the caffeine content differs a little or whether some of the other ingredients counteract the negative effects of energy drinks I'm not sure. A benefit is being able to buy in bulk through amazon, although I try to not use energy drinks unless I feel like I need a boost. I probably won't rush to buy more once my pack of 24 runs out. Not because I dislike it, it's fine, I just don't feel like it particularly stands out in comparison to others.

Very effective for a workout
My husband has been using these before football, they have been great at ensuring he has the energy to effectively workout after a busy day at work. The amount of caffeine is great and is natural too. The drink also includes quite a lot of vitamins and electrolytes too which is a bonus. The taste is lovely, not too overpowering but good at removing thirst. The drink tastes like peach and has a hint of the mandarin coming through and is very refreshing. The aftertaste was not bad either. There is a few flavours within this brand which would be good to try out.

Doesnt taste safe to drink
I was sceptical of peach and mandarin in the first place and I feel like that was justified. The smell is like orange but more bitter which fine. The taste I can only describe as tasting like rotting fruit and somehow slightly fishy which leaves an aftertaste like film on your mouth that tastes worse the more you breathe through your mouth. It feels like it needs alot of sweetners and additives to make this considered even remotely drinkable. Personally hate this and will be binning the rest. Cant even finish a single can. Im going to go be sick now as kept taking sips to describe the flavour as accurately as possible and regretting my life choices right now.
