I don't usually go out of my way to write reviews, but this stuff is amazing!! My daughter wanted pink tulips for her wedding. After doing some research, I was nervous about making a bouquet out of just tulips. To make matters more challenging, my daughter did not want the tulips tightly bunched together like a traditional rounded bouquet. Not only are tulips fragile, but without water, I feared they would droop or die. I honestly didn't know how to avoid this from happening and I was concerned from the start. I ordered pink tulips, but received red and white tulips in the mail. My wedding floral journey started out as a disaster!! I was able to find a few yellow and orange tulips from our local Trader Joe's to add to the mix, which helped a little. It was this floral kit that literally turned my the whole experience around and saved the day, even if I didn't have the color tulips we had hoped for. I followed the directions on the box exactly and made the bouquet and the rest of the floral arrangements a day ahead. I was not able to chill the flowers, but this didn't seem to matter. After a night in a dark room, the treated flowers all looked fresh and alive. Even after sitting in the sun (86° temps) for 2 hours and after the celebration, the flowers continued to look beautiful and fresh. I, furthermore, couldn't have been more thrilled with the bouquet (aside from the fact that it was white, rather than pink). The bouquet was out of water for a few hours and yet the flowers remained perky and beautiful throughout the festivities and well into the night. Thank goodness I stumbled upon this stuff!The only drawback I had with this kit is that one of the bottles had leaked all over the box and I had to send it back for a replacement. The original and replacement orders also took forever to ship, so I'd highly recommend planning ahead if you want to buy this stuff.

I saw this kit by FloraLife and I got really excited. I've always wanted to work in a flower shop and design my own floral arrangements for friends and family and this kit makes it possible to delve into the world of fresh flower preservation right at home. We've all gotten fresh flowers with the little packet of flower food but this kit goes above and beyond to give you a professional treatment and system for preserving fresh flowers that you would only find in a floral shop. The kit contains four 8 oz. bottles. The first bottle is a cleaning solution to clean everything from your vase to the surface you will use and for the cutting shears that are supplied in the kit. The second bottle is a quick dip to hydrate the stem ends of the flowers after you cut them. The third bottle is the actual flower food that you mix with water to nurture your flowers. The fourth bottle is a finishing spray to glorify the actual blooms and make them look stunning. There are two spray nozzles and a measuring cup included in the kit along with the cutting shears. There is also a scan code inside the box you can use with your phone for instructions and there are printed instructions on the inside of the box as well. Everything you need to make flowers last longer and look their best is included in this kit. You just need to have a vase and some flowers to create your own awesome flower arrangements that are going to last a long time. FloraLife is a mainstay in the flower industry and a name you can trust. I'm so happy they decided to make this kit available for us amateurs with delusions of grandeur. I might have to go pro after using this kit. I'm for sure giving this kit my ultra highest recommendations! I'm ready to rock the flower world!

I have been in the floral industry for over 15 years, and have never seen floral life available in retail. I needed some for the few weddings I have been doing at home. It has stem dip for as you cut which helps the stem seal and maintain freshness. Flower food that can be added as you process and in the vase. Spray for after you arrange, and before refrigerating. It also comes with a surface cleaner that would be handy to clean surfaces in the home, just not really necessary in the shop. The clippers are nice for woody stems, but I always cut flowers with a knife. Using clippers on flower stems just crushes them. The cost is valid when you break down the items at a retail price. I really am happy with all of this, as I never need to buy the bulk containers from the wholesalers, I cant store the bulk and use enough to justify the cost and it does have a shelf life. This is a great set for any at home Florist- Amateur or professional.

I really had no expectations for this product. If anyone is like me, I feel so bad when someone gets me flowers because I feel like it is a gift that just shrivels up and dies while making me feel guilty. My husband brought some roses home and I thought to myself that they would not last two weeks. Using the fertilizing formula they lasted 2.5 weeks! I was astonished! I also used the cleaning solution to clean the leaves of my snake plant and pathos with excellent results. I was happy to see these arrive in glass bottles and have sprayers to add. I think the price is a bit steep for my budget, but seeing how long I suspect this to last I think it has great potential to be worth it. I really enjoyed the cutters that come with the kit, they worked great!
