Bought this complete kit to help my wife's allergies by growing plants indoors in a controlled environment. Overall excellent value at $439. PROS: Nice complete kit - has everything you need to get started Excellent value for the price Sturdy tent construction Quality light (Samsung LM301H EVO) Ventilation system works well once you figure it out Fits perfectly in our laundry room (24" x 47" x 71") Frame setup doesn't take long once you understand it CONS: Instructions are HARD to read - they include directions for multiple Spider Farmer setups, making it confusing to figure out which parts go where We argued during setup because of instruction confusion (thank you YouTube for saving our sanity!) Needs additional equipment: had to buy separate heater and humidifier for proper climate control OVERALL: Despite the instruction issues, this is a great complete kit. YouTube tutorials helped immensely with setup. Once everything was figured out, it works perfectly. The tent is sturdy, light is powerful, and ventilation does its job. This tent is the perfect size for any skill level grower, from beginner to advanced, but needs to be mindful and ergonomic with a limited amount of space. For growers of any skill level—from beginners just getting their feet wet to more experienced cultivators who know how to dial things in. It’s compact, sure, but if you’re mindful and ergonomic with the space, it’s surprising what you can pull off. For example, you can carefully fit four 5-gallon fabric pots in here and experiment with growing multiple strains side by side—like natural hemp variants such as Charlotte’s Web and others—wall to wall, right across the footprint. It gives you a solid foundation to set up a controlled environment. With the right climate devices, you can lock in your VPD, humidity, temp, and airflow to suit your plants’ needs. And the frame? Surprisingly sturdy. The metal build supports any typical equipment you’d suspend—carbon filters, inline fans, LED fixtures—with a stable, easily adjustable feel. You can even fit a light like the SF-4000 in here if you wanted to push the canopy to its limits. Overkill for the size? Maybe. But totally possible, especially if you’re integrating CO₂ management and running a dense training method. The ventilation ports are well thought out, with double-layered seals that help maintain positive pressure or prevent odor leaks, depending on your setup. The reflective interior does a great job with light efficiency, and the canvas has a thick, premium feel to it. It seems to do well insulating against outside temperatures when paired with a decent airflow system. There are multiple vent locations, not skimped on, and even seal-able mesh vents that are perfect for viewing or passive intake—another design touch that shows someone was thinking. This is a quality grow tent system. The tent fabric is thick and durable with heavy duty stitching and no light bleed. It has a heavy duty zipper that should last a long time. There are plenty of access ports for different venting schemes and routing power cables in/out of the tent. The frame is solid also. I had a missing frame part that was sent to me after several emails with Jenny/Spider Farmer customer service. This missing part didn't prevent me from setting up the tent and I have to compliment and thank Jenny on her continued communication throughout the process. All of the electronic components are working correctly and my plants are loving the SF2000 LED grow light. I recommend installing a fan to blow across the top side of the LED panel/driver to supercharge the passive cooling. This should help ensure the longevity of the panel/driver. The temperature humidity controller is a nice upgrade over the standard manual fan speed control. The fan can be triggered to run at 10 different speeds via high/low temperature and/or high/low humidity setpoints. It can be run in manual mode also. The fan moves the air effectively and isn't abnormally loud at maximum speed. I saw many pictures/videos of people mounting a fan controller on the outside of their tent by poking holes though the tent for the cabling and using screws to attach the controller to a piece of wood backing inside of the tent. I didn't relish the idea of poking holes in my brand new tent so I mounted the controller to the outside with heavy duty Velcro tape and ran the fan control and temperature humidity sensor cables over the top of the tent into the back center top port. This arrangement is neat and the temperature humidity sensor cable is long enough to reach the floor of the tent. I have had the tent for two months now and everything functions correctly and I expect this to last a long time. I highly recommend this Spider Farmer 4x2 SF-2000 grow tent system.

AMAZING. 100% Recommend! All the parts flow together so well, extremely easy to put the fabric on as they made it slightly bigger (or the poles slightly smaller) than the fabric so it's easy to pull the fabric on. Light coverage is perfect. Zippers amazing, double flapped. Plenty of intake vents (back, 2 sides) and ports of all sides (sides, top) for exhaust. So it's very good. Size is amazing, though for some reason visually seems smaller than half of a 4x4 tent, but it is the same. The height is smaller than a standard 4x4, but that's fine as long as you're not growing massive plants. Fabric is very nice and thick and feels quality. Products labelled extremely well, super easy to put together. The products and accessories that came with it are perfect functionality, and meets all the needs you will have with this tent (except potentially a power surge extension cord). For the price of £330 ish, and a free £50 product, this is amazing. 100% recommend.

This tent is great for growing at home, comes with everything and was very easy to set up. Tent is very sturdy, lights and exhaust fan are good quality too. No light or smell escapes tent. Lots of videos out there to help setup if needed. This item will last many years to come 😁.

High end

Light is A+ tier quality. Fan works efficiently and is quiet on lower settings. Carbon filter works as intended, and as a bonus its comes filled (despite SF website stating it needs to be manually filled) as well as extra bags of charcoal. The plastic corners for the frame were unexpected however those pieces are easily replaceable if they were to break, but help reduce wear and tear on the tent itself. Great kit for first time or returning hobbyists. Lots of positive reviews on Youtube showing solid results. 5/5
