Like many 3M products it works perfectly and is very durable. I've never had a disc fall off. The pad is just flexible enough to allow some contouring yet rigid enough to last. Worth the extra money!

I use these for body work sanding. It has the best results in sanding body work then after I just block with 80 grit then 180 then prime . I get fast results for my body work the hook it are the best ones with this method you’ll develop speed and accuracy believe it you need it.

Works good on my cheap 50 dollar made in China air sander, also it's a plus to keeping your health safe from the sanding dust. Being suck by the vacuum through all the holes on this 3m 6inch pad.

Exactly what I needed after using my Xtract sander to buff a Rubio finish with a white scotch pad. The Rubio was catalyzed so the next day I came out to find the scotch pad adhered to the sander pad. I was able to tear it off but had a lot of finish and scotch fibers embedded in the hooks of the hook & loop attachment surface of the sander's pad.It was simple to remove (with the thin wrench that may have come with your sander or also available from Amazon) and replace with the new one. I love it when I can fix a tool instead of having to buy a new one. Especially a several hundred dollar sander.

I like my Bosch Random Orbital Sander, and I also like using Cubitron II sanding disks (by far my favorite), but at first, I had trouble getting them to stay on my Bosch Random Orbital Sander. Getting the 3M Xtract Hookit Hook and Loop Sanding Disc Backup Pad solved that problem. Now everything works just fine, and I get a lot more sanding done than I used to.
