Photo three to show the start of her issue, it got far worse After an awful injury our cat was put onto an oral painkiller for a week. This causes her to severely itch which lead to her over grooming. It started with bald patches but quickly led to her licking at her skin till it was raw! I tried so many versions of these cat suits but they all attached with Velcro and my tiny little girl just worked her way out of them! I then found this suit, I took the smallest size they had as she is tiny! You can see in the one photo she is sitting next to her now grown kitten, she is really small so wiggles out of everything. This suit however has not come off and not opened! It fits her like a glove and she can now not lick at her torso so it will give her skin a chance to heal and her hair a chance to grow back! It’s easy to open and roll up so I can do little salt water wipes if and when needed. I can not recommend this suit enough even Willow has now got used to it after only 2 days. My only wish is I’d found it sooner and that there was an Amazon prime next day delivery option 10/10 from me

This is definitely the best post-surgery vest you can find on the market. We had this two years ago for our second cat’s spay, it was purchased directly through our vet! Amazing product. Unfortunately, our vet has stopped supplying them now that we’ve had our third cat spayed. I looked up the vest on veterinarian websites and then located it on Amazon - it’s the real product! Our cat was spayed yesterday. We originally put her in a cheap pink surgery vest off of Amazon that a friend had lent us. In the other vest, she was so unhappy, the fit was poor, she was struggling to walk and falling over. She kept meowing and yowling and was just miserable. I quickly went online and found this one. First of all, the fastenings are so much better. This has two holes for the front limbs, but the back ones don’t have leg holes. The popper fastenings can be adjusted around their back limbs. It also means that if necessary, you can leave the fastenings undone and the vest still covers the wound! In comparison - the cheap pink one had only leg holes and fastened with Velcro at the top, the holes for the back legs made it hard for her to move. Whereas, she can move around so much better in this product. Shes no longer walking like she’s been impaled and seems much brighter in herself, the mobility is amazing for the size. She was clearly uncomfortable in the cheap one, but the quality different for this product is amazing. It’s clearly superior. The fabric is soft and stretchy, yet clearly strong and well made. It’s also very breathable and less trapping. The colour is bright and the overall detailing and composure is attractive. Another point is the neck hole. In this one, the neck hole has a turtle neck, that can be rolled outwards to extend to cover more or less of the neck, allowing it to be flexibly adjusted for comfort. In comparison, the cheap pink Amazon one seemed to pull uncomfortably at the base of her neck and stretch when she laid down. The fit of this one overall is so much more built to your cats body. It looks like she’s wearing cosy pyjamas that fit her snugly but not tight. The fabric is not stretched at any point, meaning it’s not putting pressure on any areas (in comparison, the cheap one clearly stretched a lot around the legs and neck when changing position and was uncomfortable looking). I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a post surgery vest for their cat. Veterinarians use it too. If we get another cat, we’ll either be using this one - or buying it again (if we lose it like we lost the last one) because it clearly helps them post surgery to be more comfortable, and when you’ve had major surgery the last thing you want is an uncomfortably garment stretching and pulling at your fur. It’s also a reasonable price in my opinion. For the high quality product, £15-20 is a great price to pay, and I would probably have paid more. The cheap, bad quality one was only around £5-£10 cheaper (depending on the size and type), and the different in comfort and happiness to my cat is clearly astounding.

I'm giving this 5 stars although my cat would give a lower rating. I think this was a good buy. It's good quality and serves the purpose. It's well worth the money. The reason I bought it was because after getting a kitten as a companion for my cat Sammy a Bromance developed. He and Marley are utterly in love with each other. They go everywhere together. 24/7 they are either snuggling, play fighting, sitting together, calling for each other or grooming each other But this is where the problem lies. Sammy is obsessed with licking Marley to the point of leaving raw patches on his skin and every time they started to heal and scab over he would lick it raw again. I had to bandage him up to protect his skin but he felt restricted so decided to get him some kind of T-shirt then I came across the Medical jacket. It worked well and Marley began to heal. He wasn't too impressed having to wear this at first but dud get used to it but unfortunately Sammy then started to obsess with the top of his head so I had to make protective head wear out of tights with holes for his ears and face. Marley just encourages Sammy to lick him raw. He is also obsessed with licking Sammy. The jacket fits both of them and is not restrictive and will certainly come in handy if they ever have stitches or get skin complaints. It is good because even when done up they can still freely go to the toilet. I chose to roll it up like a little T shirt to give him more feeling of freedom. A worthwhile buy should something like this be needed for your cat.

Bought this to protect my cat's surgical wound and give him a break from the cone of shame. Lots of pros: quite easy to put on, I did it without a second pair of hands on a formerly feral cat who isn't used to being lifted etc. Thick, soft, stretchy fabric and the fit was good but DO measure your cat to get this right, I bought this suit because the one the vet supplied was 2 sizes too big 🙄 some adjustment possible using poppers at tail end. Cat was able to use litter tray no problem, it washes well. My cat really didn't like walking/moving in it and didn't seem to get used to it in time either, which is probably why he got out of it during the night. Unfortunately resulted in an infected wound & lost stitches, so it was back to the cone! A less sensitive cat would likely be ok but be aware a determined one can get it off.

Parfait, mon chat l'adore ! Mon chat l'a accepté instantanément, il court et saute dans le jardin confortablement avec son pet shirt MPS et il dort avec tout aussi confortablement. Le pet shirt MPS est de très bonne qualité, le tissu est doux et souple, les coutures et l'assemblage sont de qualité. La taille et la coupe sont parfaites. Mon chat est très beau avec en plus.

Did a lot of research and landed on this. It’s perfect. Ordered size XS for our 11month NFC and it fits perfectly. It was hard to find a suit for longer back length without it being to big. Her measures are: Neck to tail: 40 cm Neck: 21 cm Chest: 34 cm Waist: 37 cm Maybe it can help someone.

Unser Perserkaterchen benötigte eine Bauch-OP und ich habe mir schon lange vorher den Kopf zerbrochen wie wir die Geschichte mit dem schrecklichen Plastiktrichter durchstehen sollten. Er ist halt ein Sensibelchen was fremde Sachen angeht die auchnoch krach machen. Es ist ja unvermeidbar das beim Fressen oder beim Einstieg ins Klo das Teil irgendwo gegenschlägt. Hab zufällig die Shirts gesehen und beschlossen es auszuprobieren. Entsprechend der Ratschläge zwei zum Wechseln genommen. Erste Überraschung: Anziehen war nicht schlimm. Zweite Überraschung: Keine Versuche auszusteigen oder es runter zu kratzen. Wenn er es anhatte, war er sehr ruhig. Dritte überraschung: Klogehen funktioniert absolut problemfrei. Das Shirt saß in 3xs aber auch wie angegossen (er wiegt knapp 3 kg). Die ersten Ausgänge (an der Leine) machte er auch mit Shirt um den rasierten OP-Bauch zu schützen. Er hat es nicht geliebt, ok, aber es hat in einer schwierigen Phase alles sicherer und einfacher gemacht. Kaum war es nach zehn Tagen runter, fing er an Fäden aus der Bauchnaht zu ziehen: Auf Doktors Rat weitere 5 Tage mit Shirt, dann war alles gut. Allerdings mußten wir feststellen das bei Persern das Fell darunter ,grad an den Öffnungen, sehr "verknüddelt", also öfter mal runter damit zum Kämmen. Und der Rollkragen verhindert zwar das "Aussteigen", ist aber lästig eng. Ich hab nur die Naht von dem Kragen vorsichtig aufgetrennt, das hat gereicht. Hält auch schön warm. Gut gereinigt, hab ich die Shirties vakuumiert und weggepackt.Wer weiß wozu es nochmal gut ist........

Tutina molto morbida. Tessuto di qualità con rinforzo sull'addome.

Ho dovuto acquistare questa tutina per via del fatto che la mia gatta doveva subire un intervento piuttosto invasivo. La taglia è risultata corretta, ma la tutina è leggermente sgambata e quindi la micina è riuscita a leccare la porzione della ferita posta sulla pancia, vicino all'interno coscia. Il tessuto è molto buono e resiste anche alle ripetute leccate, la zona del collo è realizzata con un materiale più spesso e meno elastico, caratteristica che fa sembrare la tutina molto stretta, ma in verità è solo un'impressione ed è comunque un dettaglio che permette al gatto di non sfilarla. La chiusura con i bottoncini è pratica, ma ne avrei aggiunti un paio per poter chiudere ancora di più la zona inguinale. La mia gatta pesa 4,700 kg ed ho acquistato la taglia XXS. Mi auguro di non dover usare mai più un prodotto simile, ma, a parte questo, è una tutina valida e comoda, creata a misura di gatto (tranne che per la zona inguinale perchè troppo sgambata a mio avviso)
