Stunning book, im obsessed. I did receive it with a large factory default scratch on the cover but Amazon replaced within 24 hours with a new one in good condition so no issues there.

A lot of fun as well as beautiful concept art and sketches here, as well as intersting facts and thoughts behind the production. It has sections on each character, and is all in all a very enjoyable book, wether you just want to skip through and look at the art or read the text. It is more of a mainstream book and not very technical about the actual animation process. -As an animator I would have loved to have a bit more of that too, but all in all Im very happy with it all.

Really enjoying this book, favourite parts are the sketches, how simplistic and yet they convey the exact emotions the artist intended, something to learn from!

The art of Tangled is a book I had been planning to get for a while. After having been swept away by the beauty of the movie, and seeing glimmers of concept art online, I knew that Tangled was something special. The amount of detail, warmth and character, captured in the pages of this book is truely breath-taking. I just couldn't stop staring at the beauty on the pages. Featuring art work & sketches by Glen Keane, and beautiful Rapunzel portrait studies by Lisa Keane, both digital media & traditional. Also featuring beautiful landscape and scenery pictures by various other artists'. I would not say this book lies with a certain age group, it can be received well by both old and young, male or female~ as the art is something to be admired by everyone. It is a hard back book, complete with a protective cover. And would be a perfect addition to anyone's bookshelf!

Beautiful drawings a tangled delight

As someone who is studying animation I find these books very useful when it comes to character and environment creating. There’s lots of beautiful concept work and descriptions and reason for all choices made that resulted in the final movie. I loved the film so I had to have this book too.
