Scissor Skills Preschool Activity Book: Learn to Cut Lines, Shapes, Fruits, Animals | Fun Cutting & Coloring Book for Kids | Preschool Learning Activities for 3-5 Year Olds : by RV AppStudios, Lucas & Friends: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: Entertaining and good for scissor skills - I didn't think I would like my kids having these because I wasn't keen on encouraging them to cut up books but the book went down quite well and my son has definitely not started cutting up his other books which is excellent! The only down side is he likes to cut the pictures out first and THEN colour them in which means he colours to the edges and all over the table. I can't really complain because its great that its entertaining for them. Review: Great book - Great book. Super value and really helped my daughter learn to use scissors.

Good for learning hand and eye coordination
Children seemed impressed that they are allowed to use scissors. Work great but would say, would be surprised if a child 3 or under could use them.

3 year old really enjoyed this
Bought for 3 year old who enjoys fine motor activities to help them prepare for school. We bought some suitable small round tipped scissors for them to use with it as our scissors were both too sharp and big for little hands but the plastic scissors are very hard to use. The book was great with lots of downy cutting patterns and shapes. As other reviews noted, some of the areas to cut are really close to the seam which make it too difficult to cut so it's worth ripping out the pages that you want to use before attempting to cut them. Some of the shapes also were fun for colouring in so we got quite a lot of use out of this.
