5L of Pro-Kleen Hot Tub & Whirlpool Complete System Flush Cleaner

This truly dissolves all the oil that accumulates in your hot tub piping in between cleans. The water surface will have large globs of yellow fats and dirt within minutes of pouring in this cleaner. It is also economical, with 5L doing 5 inbetween cleans, ie it will last you for a year if you clean your hot tub every 3 months as is recommended.

I used this after seeing it suggested as a fix for white mould (like tissue paper) in the hot tub after being away and not adding enough chemicals. I heard while mould is tricky to get rid of. But I followed the instructions and it worked perfectly. The process was to empty the contaminated water, rinse. Refil and add the solution, leave it overnight for 12 hours if possible at 30 degrees (I also added all the equipment used in the pool into the tub to soak it). ake sure you use the bubbles and leave it with the pump running. Drain the pool and rinse with cold water. Refil with water and run the equipment again. Drain again. Refil and add chemicals as usual (best to do a shock treatment before using). Yes it was a pain but it worked.

Easy to use

If you have a jacuzzi, spa or hot tub, perhaps the least "glamorous part of ownership is keeping the pipework clear and clean, this stuff does a brilliant job of taking care of that side of the deal .Much depends how often you use your spa etc, so the cleaning schedule will reflect on that .However it is pretty easy to use , add the recommended amount for your system , turn on the pump, and let it purge the pipework. Word of warning, dont be alarmed by what comes through those pipes, just be glad you have decided to clean them before they got any worse.

I am very impressed by the results. I tried to clean my whirlpool bathtub using different methods found online (like dishwasher tablets), but weren't effective enough. I tried this and my bathtub is sparkling. The nozzles weren't in their best condition, but now they look like new. I almost never write reviews, but it really deserves it. The only downside is that on the instructions only says to use 500ml, but is not mentioned the volume of water. For my small whirpool bathtub, it was too much and it made a lot of foam, even on the lowest setting (at least it didn't go over).

It seems to work ok although the tub needs flushing a couple of times after because you get lots of bubbles even after flushing once, which isnt ideal as water is scarce these days

So I've seen quite a few videos of people flushing their hot tubs, and usually there's loads of bubbles and nastyness come out. When I used this, on a hot tub with its first water change nothing much seemed to come out. The instructions to say to have the pump working but not to have the air bubbles on. It did create a very nice clean smelling fragrance coming from the tub, so I'm hoping it's nicely cleaned any bacteria and oils knocking about.
