A Great little set
This is an introductory board for my nine year old son who has been showing interest in chess for many months now.It's a great little set for smaller hands and is ideal for travelling with. Yet, even though it's smaller and indeed more compact, it can still be used regularly by adults, too!

OK, but not ideal for those with large hands
Ideal for travelling, although the lack of weight makes the pieces prone to accidental movement, particularly for those with large hands, so I may decide to glue felt on to the bottom of each piece in an effort to stabilise them.

Amazing chess set 100% buy
I love this product! The pieces are hand painted and good quality, it’s portable in its case and it has strong magnets. Very good value for money. Good for family/friends. Looks so nice. 100% an all around good product. Great job!

Beautiful set
I didn’t know until opened, that this beautiful set is actually hand carved. All the pieces have been made to perfection.This is a GREAT little starter board for a child or adult starting out in the game of chess.Highly recommend

As beautiful as the Queens Gambit
It is ideal for travelling, it is good value for money and it is a compact design not too thick so it fits easily into a bag. I was pleasantly surprised to receive draughts/chequered and backgammon. Two very picky observations rules of backgammon would have been nice and the king would benefit from additional design work to differentiate from queen at the moment it just slightly taller.

It is what it says it is.
Lovely little set as far as travel sets go, the pieces are lovely but the board is really quite flimsy and feels cheap. My son (who this was for) loves the feel of it because it’s so smooth but it definitely feels like it will bend/snap really easily. For the price however, it is good and the chess pieces are well done
