Great for Money Gifts
We purchased these for our 20 year old college grandkids, married grandkids and their spouses for Christmas this year. We decided instead of just handing them cash we wanted them to spend time to working for their cash. Since they are all adults now instead of making it easy......we wanted to give them a challenge. Boy did these deliver. They all had a great time, especially when the first discovered what was in there:-) Once one was able to get into their box, the game was afoot. They were all excited, and took them all some time to get them open. Everyone had a blast except one who finially gave up and brided her sibling to open it for her (she has ADHA and couldn't keep still long enough). Anyway, everyone took them home to use again with friends. I would say these were a hit.

Pink one wouldn't open
I would give it a 5 but the pink one wouldn't open. even after we solved it a good 20 time. Good thing i only needed 7. and i wasn't about to return all of them and try to get them replaced 2 days before christmas. The other ones were a Great party favor. A bit too pricey.

Great For A Little Surprise
I used these as an extra little tease for my players; I run a D&D game and we've been playing together for several years, so this year I got my players each a custom dice set to celebrate and I put them in these, color-coded to roughly correspond to their characters' primary thematic colors. I also put a little note in each one with a "code", so if they present me with their code to prove they opened the box then I'll give each one a special magic item in-game!I like these boxes in particular because where most of these only have one or two sides to really think about, the ball here has to travel all over the cube at all angles, it's a GREAT challenge that's not so frustrating as to upset anyone but not so easy as to be a waste. And the colors are nice and vibrant too!My only minor gripe is that one of the cubes didn't pop open the first time I solved it; I checked all of them and only one didn't work perfectly, but it worked the second time. Might be a problem for other people, but I got lucky with mine and they all ended up being okay, none of them were like, permanently stuck. I might have just hit the switch too fast or too light or something.But yeah, nice little puzzle box!

So much fun to watch my 4 kids race to see who could get done the fastest. Great quality and can be used over and over.

Fun way to give a cash gift!
I got just enough to be able to give one to each of my grandchildren and great grands, ages 9 - 21. Some were able to solve it in just 5 minutes and others took a bit longer...but all of them LOVED this gift! It was a game and cash...two of their favorite things!

Fun way to give money. But
They are fun to give money but my pack of 8 had one that didn't work. I needed all 8. So I had to order a second set and hope that the color i needed worked. If you need a certain amount, order more than you need. Lots of people said they had some that didn't work.
