Umbra Flex Drain Plug and Hair Catcher, Dual Purpose Stopper, Prevents Clogged Shower Drains, White

I bought this for my bath as we have now put a shower in and I wanted to catch my hair as it is very long. This is great for the bath as well. It doesn't stick but it doesn't need to the weight of the water keeps it in place I have no problem with it leaking. It catches plenty of hair. There is a bit of water in the bath once finished as the plug is slightly raised from the surface. this too is not an issue as I am not going to leave the plug there without cleaning the bath out after use and I can see that there is no hair in that small amount. Works great for the shower too stays in place and catches plenty of hair.

This is a great stopper. I've got one win my kitchen sink and one in bathroom sink. Easy to use as stopper with a simple press and basin fills. Easy to release, one press and water flows down the drain. In the bathroom it is working a treat to catch hair; easy to clean too. The kitchen stopper catches bits that would block drain. So pleased that I bought two.

This is the best product I have used for catching hair without obstructing the water flow. However, the plug feature is a separate piece connected via a metal fixture. This means fine hair can get caught around this connection and is very hard to remove. It's a design flaw in my opinion. I never use the plug feature, so wish there was one without it.

I've been using this as a sink stopper for around 1.5 months now. It doesn't lay completely flat against my sink (but I think that's more to do with the design of my sink than the product itself) but it does a relatively good job of catching hair and keeping water in when the valve is shut. But like some of the other reviews have mentioned, it's very hard to remove any hair caught because of the way it wraps around the metal button. Also, bacteria builds up quickly around the rim and underside of the stopper as well as the inner area which is inserted into the drain so you have to clean it often. Overall, it's not amazing or horrendously bad. It does the job and is easy to use.

I don't normally leave reviews, but this doohicky was great so it deserves it. We had big problems with hair in the drain (household of long haired people), and de-clogging fluid caused the pipes to corrode so that was no longer an option. This little thing catches so much hair, it's crazy! I had no idea there was so much, no wonder the pipe clogged constantly. The drain has been free flowing ever since we installed it - when the doohicky is in place the tub drains a bit slower but don't worry, it's just doing its job. Some reviews state that it's hard to clean, while this is kind of true, if it was super easy to clean then it probably wouldn't be good at catching hair! You want it to be harder to get the hair off, that means it's working, right? Either way, really pleased, very good purchase.

This product is such a good idea, looks good, neat and hides the hair it’s caught (unlike other hair catchers that leave it in a dirty pile in sight) but from a practical point it’s rubbish. The water doesn’t drain away like it would with other hair catchers plus when it comes to getting the hair out that it’s caught you need scissors, tweezers and lots of time!!!! I’ve already gone back to my cheaper hair catcher as I can clean it in 10 seconds rather than 10mins!

I’ve bought this drain stop several times for my bathtub, and it works well overall. The only downside is that removing the tangled hair can be a bit of a hassle, but other than that it’s great. It’s easy to clean, so it doesn’t get moldy and stays hygienic.

Product werkt goed en werkt als badstop zelfs beter dan onze ouderwetse zwarte stop. Pakt haren tijdens het douchen, werkt als badstop, kan het iedereen aanraden! Het enige waar je even op moet letten is dat je na het douchen de stop even optilt zodat ook het laatste beetje water kan weglopen. Anders sta je de volgende dag in een koud plasje water.
