Product is best of its kind for generations.
I've used this product for the past 45 years and it is like none other. I usually use the past form but thought I would try this. It is wonderful and safe for so many metals. Use on your jewelry, silver and silver plate, copper, sinks - so much.

This is my new MIRACLE for polishing silver…and copper…and pewter!
My grandmother’s elaborate silver-plated tea service and other lovely plated pieces have disgracefully sat in their badly tarnished state on my buffet for way too long. Finally, embarrassed whenever I’d see it, shrinking in the knowledge of what hard work/time it would take to bring back its beauty only to watch it quickly tarnish again, I knew there had to be SOMETHING better than the typical W…..t’s polish or “cheating” option of T…..x which removed the tarnish but didn’t leave a sheen. I cautiously read the reviews for this silver polish, particularly intrigued by its leaving a protective coating which kept silver from tarnishing so quickly. When I read it was also recommended for use on stainless steel sinks and that afterward water would bead up, I was sold and ordered a bottle. Yes, it seems pricey for the amount in the bottle, but after polishing MANY large items, there’s plenty left for doing it all again, likely not for a long time : ) Truly you don’t need much, and following the instructions to use microfiber clothes (which are never washed with fabric softener here) to apply and then buff off, this project was almost enjoyable! It also took 1/2 the time to polish everything to a brilliant, warm and impressive sheen than anything else I’ve ever tried. It’s been a number of weeks since I’ve polished everything and there is NO sign of any bit of tarnish. Dust, yes as I need to dust everything (sigh). It is such a pleasure to see my grandmother’s silver plated things gleam brightly. I know she’d be happy…and say “Well, it’s about time!” LOL, I cannot recommend this highly enough. This is an amazing product.

Very effective cleaner
This stuff really works -- pretty expensive, too, but I'm a cheapskate. Sometime you have to pay a lot for a quality product.

Wish I'd ordered this years ago!
I saw a magazine ad about Maas years ago, and cut it out, but it seemed a little pricey, and I never ordered it. I came across the ad recently, and said to myself, "I bet I could get that from Amazon." I could, and I did, and it was even a little cheaper than it was in that old ad. "WOW!" That is what I catch myself saying every time I wipe off something I've just polished with Maas. I can't help it. This stuff doesn't just remove tarnish, it actually polishes the metal. Some things I've used it on are probably shinier than they were when brand new. I've used it on aluminum, brass, silver, copper, iron, pewter, and bronze. I was worried about getting it on gemstones at first, but have applied it, either on purpose or as a consequence of polishing nearby metal, to turquoise, mother of pearl, smoky quartz, and sugilite, with no apparent damage. I found myself gathering up metallic things from all over my house, eager to see what they would look like after using Maas on them! I bought the 8 oz. bottle, and I've only used a fraction of it. It really is a bargain. It's a little hard to get used to the best way to use it, because it's not like other products. Use just a tiny bit. Rub it all over the item with your hands. If there are small crevices or depressions on the surface, an old toothbrush is good to scrub in the cracks with. If the item is large, you might want to do a section at a time. Then, immediately, start rubbing or buffing the surface with something like a piece of old terrycloth towel. The more you rub, the shinier it will be, but it doesn't really take long to get an amazing shine. Rub off any residue, and just let me see you TRY not to say "WOW!" If the item is intended for use with food, you should wash it, but it may stay shiny longer if you allow a film of Maas to remain on it. This is the best metal polish I have ever seen.

It's okay, but
not as good as the original formula which came in the little tube.

Maas is the best
I use this to polish my silverware, but my favorite use is polishing gold and silver jewelry. People don't realize how much gold jewelry tarnishes until you use a cleaner like Maas to polish it. Makes our 34 year old wedding rings shine like new! : ). I'm always amazed how good my gold earrings, bracelets, rings etc look after giving them a buff with some Maas.

It's all I use on my silver
Love this stufff. If it's good enough to White House use (it is!) it's good enough for my silver also, both jewelry and tableware. Never scratches, protects well, it's all I have used for years. Great stuff!

BEST I HAVE FOUND
I have an antique ship's bell, and it clean it right up. We are also painting our home and instead of replace corroded brass doorknobs I cleaned them with little elbow grease on my part.
