These cutters surprised me. I don't work with large cables for a living, so I bought these to get me through the project I was on. But these things cut 2 AWG very cleanly and could probably cut a cigar as well.I am very pleased with the quality and performance received for the reasonable purchase cost. I have only made around 30 cuts so far, with two accidentally going through 2AWG Copper and the lugs, with no loss of sharpness or damage to the edge. They comfortably cut quickly, cleanly and consistently.

This tool is amazing. I utilize many artificial plants in my everyday life. These cable cutters do the job and make shortening the artificial stems way easier than wire cutters. A very similar pair of cable cutters cost twice the price at a well known hardware store. They are easy to use and I would recommend them for sure. If you use them once a year or more often they are worth having them on hand.

Used these to cut some 1/0 AWG cable for solar project. They performed great and cut through with ease.

The best cutters I have ever used, and I've had several!!

It worked well for the 1/8" SS braided cable and for solid 0.11" galvanized steel rod. After the cutting, the 1/8" SS braided cable remained round and easy to wrap so that it would not unbraid. I was able to feed the cut end through small holes, as needed.I found that the cutting edges were not sharp enough to cut through my heavy-duty 0.187" (3/16") braided SS cable - these cutters smashed the round cable flat and de-braided the cable, making the cut end unacceptably messy.

Good value for the money. So fat they appear to be durable.

Performs as expected, used to cut wire cable and has been very effective for 3/16 inch cable.

Love it let me tell you they are easy to use and definitely make a good cut when needed handy for firefighting.
