I fell over in August and aggravated some old neck and shoulder pain. The local hospital referred me for some physiotherapy, which I felt I desperately needed. I was so happy when the hospital phoned with my appointment, only to find that physios aren't seeing anybody in person at the moment, because of Covid. My appointment was to be by phone, but I knew I needed some hands-on muscle manipulation. After waking up one morning feeling like I had a trapped nerve in my neck, I knew I had to take action. I phoned local chiropractors, private physiotherapists and osteopaths, but was unable to get an appointment for more than a week. I looked on Amazon and noticed some neck and shoulder massagers for around £40. I was very tempted to buy one of these, but after much deliberating decided against it. I thought one of the cheaper ones probably wouldn't last for more than a few months, then I'd have to buy again. I was also concerned that the cheaper ones are highly likely to be made in China, and might not have been made to the same level of safety standards. In the end, I decided to go with the Donnerberg one. I almost bought the corded version, but remembered the inconvenience of only being able to use a massager right next to a socket, when I previously had a corded chair massager. The 7 year warranty, and the fact that I had the freedom to use this massager anywhere I liked, was the deciding factor. I was also fortunate that it was Amazon Prime day, so I got an extra discount. The massager arrived the very next day. When unpacking it, you could tell it was a high quality product, using top quality materials. It's also really well made, and looks built to last. I liked the fact that you could unzip the mesh fabric cover to wash it, plus you got some extra spares. Handy and more hygienic if different people want to use the massager, or you could use one cover for feet and a different cover for neck and back. I started charging it up, and it has a large blue solid light which lights up behind the massaging nodules. This goes out when the unit is fully charged, which takes around 3 hours from flat. Each massage session automatically stops after 15 mins, but a full charge should give you around 80 mins, so I tend to have 2 massages around my neck and shoulders, then one around the lumbar area. Using this machine is like sheer bliss. You can feel all the tension and muscle tightness vanish away. I saw a huge improvement in the range of movement in my neck after only 1 use. I have continued to have a few massages every single day while watching the TV in the evenings, and this has made a massive difference to me. If I could have got an appointment, a massage session locally costs around £40-£60 each time. It makes this massager seem quite cheap in comparison when you look at it that way. I could either have 4 or 5 massages in total, or I could have as many massages as I like over the next 7 years for the same cost, and all in the comfort of my own home. The hand straps are easy to direct the massager to exactly where you need it, and it feels almost as good as a professional massage. The vibrating mode is lovely on the lumbar area, and the infrared heat is nice and soothing. I could perhaps do with it slightly hotter, but it is still comfortable, relaxing and soothing. I'm so glad I bought this, every household should have one.

I dont normally write reviews but this product is so good, I just wanted to share my findings. I have had lower back issues for a quite few years now that chiropractors, extended hospital physiotherapy, bowen technique treatment etc hasnt managed to cure so I have just been managing to cope the best I can and be as active as I can and exercise. Now for the reason I bought this product. Unfortunately about 10 months ago I damaged my shoulder and couldnt sleep or move my arm without pain. I thought I must have just pulled a muscle but a few weeks later and it wasnt improving so I went to the doctor. Doctors referred me to hospital for assessment and treatment for suspected rotator cuff injury. The hospital started off with xrays and then months of physio and eventually ended saying that they didnt think it was a torn rotator cuff but because of the original injury, apparently according to the consultant, the wrong muscles are now moving the wrong joints because the brain has been trying to protect the injury and controlling the new signals to the muscles. They say it will eventually repair itself, but will take quite some time, up to 18 months. Due to all the above muscle issues, I started to look around for a good massager and found this original Donnerberg product on amazon with all its great reviews. I realise its considerably more expensive than so many 'similar' devices on sale but rather than risk getting a cheaper device and being disappointed, I bit the bullet and decided to get the 'real deal'. I am so pleased I did, I love it. It came yesterday and I must say, this device just oozes quality and practicality. I started using it straight away on my shoulders and initially thought there was an issue with one of the rotator head drives as it was very clunky and jumpy on one side. Couldnt see anything wrong with the unit so out of interest, I tried the unit the other way up so that the massage heads were swapped over on my shoulders. Same clunking and jumping on the same shoulder then I realised, that this is on my bad shoulder. I then realised it must be the knotted muscles on that side that the massage heads were working on and it was jumping over the knots. Having used it (probably too much) that day on my shoulders and back, I started to feel relief from some of the muscle pains I have had and I actually felt I had a better nights sleep. Today I put it on again early on to continue the treatment as I was convinced that this device was going to help me. I couldnt believe but this time, there was no jumping or knotted muscles on the bad shoulder side, all was smooth and I actually feel I have better movement on that side of my shoulder too. I know its very early days but I am convinced this unit will really help. The massage action and heat, vibration settings available are fantastic and you certainly get a really intensive massage. It is also very easy with a little added pressure to get this device to make you wince in pain (if you are that way inclined) the massager is certainly very capable making you squirm :) Sorry its such a long tale but basically, I love this massager already and personally feel its worth the outlay, even more so if it helps out with the aches and pains I have had for so long. I am not saying the cheaper 'similar' offerings available wouldnt do a similar job, but from what I have seen so far, I am so pleased I plumped for this original premium model from Donnerberg it really does ooze quality and is made in Germany, it is not a Chinese clone which to me, is another plus. I am so pleased with the whole package, in my opinion, its a fantastic product... and thank you Amazon for supplying it on next day delivery.

Ik schrijf bijna nooit recensies, maar voor dit apparaat móét het gewoon. Ik heb al maanden extreem vastzittende spieren in mijn nek, schouders en heupen. Alles stond strak, echt verkrámpte spanning. Ik had eerlijk gezegd weinig hoop dat een massageapparaat zou helpen. Weer iets van 189,- euro waarvan ik dacht: waarschijnlijk werkt het toch niet. Maar na twee minuten in mijn nek voelde ik al verschil. Niet een klein beetje… echt directe verlichting. Mijn spieren werden zachter, mijn nek deed minder pijn en zelfs mijn schouders voelden lichter. Het is bijna niet uit te leggen hoe groot het verschil was, omdat alles bij mij zó vast zat dat niets meer leek te helpen. Wat helemaal bijzonder was: mijn kinderen hebben hem ook geprobeerd. Zelfs mijn dochter, die nooit ergens snel op reageert, voelde meteen ontspanning in haar nek. Dat vond ik echt bizar, in positieve zin. Ik heb veel apparaten geprobeerd door de jaren heen, maar deze komt dieper, precies op de knopen waar je normaal alleen met een professionele massage bij komt. Het voelt niet als een gadget maar als echte ondersteuning, vooral als je kampt met: • chronische spierspanning • stress • nek- of schouderpijn • overbelasting Ik ben ongelooflijk positief verrast. Had ik dit maar eerder gekocht.

Es gibt natürlich schönere Arten, durchgeknetet zu werden, aber das ist deutlich teuerer und man braucht einen Termin, wenn man alleine wohnt. Wer zuhause seine Schultern und/oder Rücken lassen massieren will, findet in diesem Massagegerät einen super Helfer. Es massiert mit rotierenden Köpfen, die teilweise etwas nachgeben und somit nicht knüppelhart jeden Widerstand beackern. Die zuschaltbare Wärme ist schnell da und sehr angenehm. Das minütliche Ändern der Drehrichtung - auch manuell möglich - ist auch gut. Nur mit der Vibration kann ich nichts anfangen. Die ist entweder zu schwach oder meine Verspannung zu hart. Positiv ist auch, dass das Material nicht riecht und sich angenehm anfühlt. Ich kann das Massagegerät also empfehlen, wenn man nicht sowieso jemandem im Haushalt hat, der gerne massiert - was durchaus eine Alternative wäre. Aber der will sich vielleicht auch dann unterhalten. Pluspunkt für das Massagegerät, es hat eine erträgliche Lautstärke, so dass man noch Musik hören oder TV gucken kann. Der Preis ist meiner Meinung nach ok, die Fertigungsqualität ist hoch, und wenn ich wirklich auch in ein paar Jahren noch Ersatzteile bekomme, ist das ja auch was wert. 5 Sterne.

La calidad de los materiales salta a la vista nada mas sacarlo de la caja, en mi caso una estupendo cuero sintetico color beige muy agradable al tacto y comodo en los reposa brazos que tiene. En cuanto al funcionamiento unos botones bastante intuitivos en uno de los brazos del aparato. El botón de encendido, cambio de dirección de movimiento, 3 velocidades de giro, 2 intensidades de calor y 2 intensidades de vibración. Tanto el calor como la vibración son desconectables. La vibración en mi caso no la he usado puesto que lo he probado principalmente en cuello y espalda donde no lo veo necesario, tal vez para piernas o brazos si se pueda usar mejor la vibración. Bastante adecuado el nivel de calor máximo que emite que se asemeja al calor de manos después de trabajar la zona un rato. La intensidad del masaje se puede controlar bien ejerciendo mas o menos presión a traves de los brazos. En mi caso he tenido dudas acerca de si el masajeador se usaba con los botones quedando a la derecha o a la izquierda. Como unico punto mejorable diría que el acceso a los botones queda algo arriba y pulsarlos en pleno masaje implica girar la cabeza a un lado. Me gusta que tenga un tiempo de funcionamiento y se apague solo luego. Puede dar masajes bastante vigorizantes y la sensación es que te estan masajeando unas manos de verdad. Muy aconsejable como complemento a sesiones de fisioterapia o como aparato para relajarse despues de un dia de trabajo con los músculos cargados

Je l ai acheté sans aucune conviction, je suis 8:00 par jour devant l écran et chaque hiver mon dos se bloque, se crispe et se raidit avec la météo et le stress du travail, surtout au niveau des cervicales. J avais souvenir qu en Thaïlande un bonne masseuse m avait tout enlevé en 20 mn. Du coup, n ayant pas la chance d avoir une experte dans mon entourage, je me suis dirigé vers une machine et n ayant pas non plus la possibilité dans mon village d essayer le matériel je me suis fié aux articles, vidéos et commentaires sur internet et à force de lire et de recouper les avis il semblerai que le top c est ce modèle. J ai donc commandé cette machine avec beaucoup de crainte car quand on n a pas essayé... Lorsque je l ai reçu j avais l épaule bloquée et une forte douleur dans les cervicales due à la crispation du froid, j ai branché l appareil et j ai tout de suite senti la qualité du massage et l option chaleur qui apaise, j ai été surpris qu une machine puisse réaliser un massage aussi réaliste, c est doux et ferme à la fois. Après 15 mn de massage j ai retiré l appareil et, grand bonheur, j ai retrouvé la sensation de légèreté et de soulagement que j avais vécu la bas en Thaïlande. Je suis totalement convaincu par ce produit, c est certainement le meilleur investissement réalisé, je m attendais à un gadget de geek mais c est un appareil qui mérite sa place dans la catégorie « appareil medical » si j avais su que ça existe, je l aurai acheté bien avant. Si vous avez des douleurs dans le cou ou les cervicales ou si comme moi vous êtes longtemps devant l écran du pc, j ai l élan de vous dire qu il ne faut pas hésiter à l acquérir, cet objet va rendre votre quotidien plus agréable. Je ne commente jamais les produits mais là si ça peut aider quelqu un à faire un bon choix, je le fais volontiers ! Ce produit est top, robuste, bien construit, simple et efficace. Je recommande a tous et Amazon ne m offre rien pour rédiger ce commentaire !
