Great Jupiter!
One of the best gifts I've ever given. Still on the person's desk years later, still working and still turning heads. Will probably buy another one of these days. Thanks, MOVA!

Stunning and an amazing gift
I bought it as a birthday gift for my boyfriend and it is completely worth it! He has been wanting one for some time so I decided to swallow the fact that is a bit expensive and got him one and boy it was worth it. It's an amazing quality and you can just stay hours there staring at it. Now the entire family wants one as well. It does rotate faster with light but even during the night when it's standing still it is stunning

so cool
this thing is badass. i love it! only thing that sucks is it only seems to rotate during the day, while at night its dormant because there isn’t enough ambient light to keep it spinning. i painted the acrylic base gold to match my other table decorations. 10/10 highly recommend. jupiter is the coolest.

It looks great
If not applied strong and direct light on top of the globe it does not spin if the light is too weak it may spin-stop-spin to the other directions at times the colors don't look as pretty as I'd imagine Jupiter to be, but it still looks great. I showed it off to friends and let it roll on it's stand and on a table, it got many scratches that remain forever so be careful the globe is not scratch-proof, best let it rest somewhere it can look pretty, and not touch it

Fantastic
Expensive but worth every penny. Slowly spins 24 hours a day, using natural daylight and at night we have a low powered LED lamp near it. Was packaged extremely well. Will be buying more of these from this supplier.

Cool desk trinket, a tad pricey
I figured this would be a cool nerdy desk trinket for the office - I was right. It looks really great sitting on my desk, and I read the size, 4.5", and had a picture in my head of how big it would be, but when I received it I was surprised at how large it actually is. As some others have mentioned, this globe is just slightly too blue for Jupiter, but I understand why and it's something I can easily overlook. From just looking at pictures and things, I wasn't entirely sure about how it worked or if the surface was glossy or not. It's basically the same as a ship's compass floating in water, only this is entirely encompassed in a clear outer casing and a fluid (probably water). The outer shell is a shiny plastic so it appears glossy, unlike the product image which makes it appear to have a matte look. The reason the print on the inner globe is slightly blue is to allow ambient light to pass through the image so it can hit the inner electronics to get the rotation going. It's not a fast spin - I have an office with three large windows that quite a bit of light comes in through, and today it took about 25 seconds to do one complete rotation. It's a neat thing to have on your desk, but I think it's a little pricey for what it is. I can see the seam on the outer shell and the inner print, but it's not noticeable unless you inspect it closely (a foot or two form your face). I probably won't buy another at this price, but I would at sub-$100 prices.

MOVA Globe makes a unique gift.
I made my first MOVA purchase years ago gifting a Van Gogh MOVA Globe to a friend. I was so impressed, that I ordered one for myself. Since that time, I have a purchased a total of 10 various MOVA globes myself. Their quality & uniqueness is what made me a fan. They are on the pricey side, but to me, worth the cost. Luckily, I purchased the majority of my collection for $160.00 or less (before the recent price increase to $198.00).

Only needs a small amount of light to operate, no batteries required.
No batteries required. Uses only light to spin. I’ve enjoyed having several of the planets and moon on our patio.
