Crisp, salty and sweet. Light.
These rice cookies are fabulous. I did not know I could get them here. I lived in Hawaii for 40 years and that was our favorite cookie. When I saw that Amazon carried them I was so happy. They are light, salty, sweet and wonderful.

Good rice crackers, not so Japanese however
These are good tasting rice crackers - a nice combination of sweet and salty. Has MSG (lots of Asian food items do), so if you get headaches from Chinese food, you might want to avoid them. Since there were a couple of reviews that might lead people to believe these were 'Japanese', I'd like to point out, technically they are not from Japan or Japanese company. 'Japanese style' may be more like it ('senbei' means [rice] crackers). The name of the product, "雪の月" (snow moon) is dubiously similar to a long standing product in Japan, "雪の宿" (snow inn). They also look similar. You can see the latter (original) in the 2nd picture. (Kind of like how Hyundai came about in Korea after Honda, which sound very similar.) Long story short, these are made by a Taiwanese company to make them look Japanese. That doesn't take away from the fact they are pretty good tasting, and since I bought them knowing that, I don't feel so bad. But if you are seeking 雪の宿 that you got during your trip to Japan/Hokkaido, this would not be it. If you have a Daiso near you (Japanese version of dollar store), you might find similar crackers for cheaper. We did away with a car, so I'm glad Amazon sells these online.
