Love the real photos, great for Montessori approach and more likely to keep her interested when she’s a bit older. Nice small board book, easy for little hands to grasp and turn the pages. Love the bold solid colour backgrounds, my little one loves the high contrast between the background and the images.

Finding for early-learning //recognition books for little ones is a bit of an adventure, there are so many to choose from...first books need to be colourful and uncomplicated to attract the desired attention.....most of all they must be fun.....this series of books seems to fit the bill with colourful pictures, sound descriptions that have to be relayed by thoseshowing the pictures to little-one....and of course there are several surfaces along the way to touch that also raisesinterest.Have added the pictures below to demonstrate just how colourful and prospectively interesting the book is for for eagerto learn toddlers.(must admit i almost didn't buy this one because of a few adverse reviews, however, glad i did - it's delightful)

This is the third DK Baby Touch and Feel book I've ordered and we love them. My toddler is 17 months old and is a force of destruction. She has destroyed every book she has ever gotten her hands on, however these books have been so far indestructible. Whether its bending, standing on or chewing these books have put up with everything, and she loves reading them at bedtime. Will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

Nice book and has a nice feel to it. Nice animal pictures and has baby animal pictures. My son loves it

Great book. Suitable for babies younger than one year old. Keep them busy. Best part that it has real images of animals so the kid gets to know what they really look like

Another great touch and fell book with cute wild animals including tigers and lions. Our little one absolutely adored it.

Nice & robust for little ones, no sharp edges, just not a lot of contrasting textures for them to feel, not as good as it looks in the picture

Our 9 month old loves this book, it calms her to touch the fur on especially the picture of the polar bear.

This book was perfect for my 16-month-old who loves animals. It was a treat to watch him touch the textures and admire the pictures, albeit upside down. He reaches out for this book several times a day and enjoys flipping through the pages. The pages are sturdy enough to take a beating from those little hands (and legs occasionally!) and still remain largely unharmed. The pictures are big and the colors are bright. Some sound words are also given at the top of each animal. Sometimes, their young are shown. Not every picture has an accompanying texture; for the ones where the texture is missing, there are shiny indentations. It doesn't really matter because the child is hooked anyway! I would recommend this book to parents who are looking for both a sensory as well as a visual experience for their child.

I like it, but remember the touch/material parts being a bit bigger - actually the whole book being bigger.There are also 4 pages with no touch material only shine.To evaluate the animals touch pages: rhino - ok, lion - seems a bit small, elephants - only the shine grass, tiger - ok, panda - small, parrot - only shine on wings, penguin - ok, polar bear - ok, koala - only shine bamboo, wallaby - smallish, crocodile - ok, lizard - only shine dots...Delivered and packed well.

Most of the pages have touch n feel material and mostly it is furry.Book is good for your toddlerbas he can easily flip the thick pages. Handy and good 👍😊. I will recommend it to all as other such books on amazon which are low in cost have only half pages with touchy material.So better to spend some more to get more.
