Great coffee replacement

I wouldn't say this is a 100% replacement for coffee because coffee has so much character and depth to miss, but that's not to say this isn't a nice roasty and comforting supplement. It's quite bitter, more bitter than most instant coffees, I reckon. However adding milk and sugar does make a lot of difference and you get this kind of flavour that's quite similar to cinder toffee. It's slightly bitter but quite mellow and almost confectionery. I would highly recommened for it's value as a 3-pack because you get quite a lot of coffee, and if you're like me and aren't necessarily kicking the coffee, it's a nice alternative during evenings or some mornings. If you're buying this to reap its benefits, then you'll probably need to know that you'll have to drink a lot of it to get the affects as you'll probably be peeing a lot of it out, that being said those benefits are: Combatting inflammation, helps digestion, reduces stress, protects liver function, helps prevent the onset of type 2 diabetes, reduces cholesterol and more.

This is the best chicory drink. It is mild and like coffee. Unlike other chicory drinks, this is not bitter at all.

Good alternative if coffe does not suit you . It’s an acquired taste .

I tried this after hearing about it being a good substitute for coffee. I don’t drink much coffee but enjoy it at times. I used to drink decaf but discovered it has more chemicals in it so this is a healthier alternative and it tastes like coffee, to me anyway. Some brands can be very expensive, around £20 for a small bag (approx 100g)so this is excellent value for money.
