Got it for my partner who will have his 2nd hernia surgery. First time around he didnt use anything, so we want to make sure that this time around we do everything possible to avoid having the 3rd surgery. First of all, this is of high quality, which is important. He tried it on and was really happy about how it feels and is confident that this will help. The material feels very nice, not scratchy but very comfortable on skin. He has quite sensitive skin, so it it great that it doesn't cause any uncomfortably. He says the it really supports the area where the surgery took place, so it is effective too. Really good price. I would suggest to anybody who is going to have a hernia surgery to get this.

This support made a lot of difference in order for me to carry out my day to day affairs however it is a bit restrictive however this is NOT a product or design fault, you dont realise how much you use your torso in every day life. The support makes you feel less vulnerable as it holds you in, its also a good posture corrector as it makes you sit up straight!!!

i am due for an operation soon as my abdominal hernia causes discomfort when doing some heavy work.with this product it keeps the hernia in with little discomfort over my 12 hour shifts.the only small criticism i have is where the overlap can move so a couple of small velcro attachments on the loose end could be fitted.i have been tempted to fit,hold it with something myself but i don't want to damage it,alex

I bought this item for my husband who has a hernia from a recent stomach operation. He is delighted with it, nice and broad so it does not ride up, lightweight and comfortable to wear also there is plenty of room for adjustment. His unsightly bulge is there no more! I would recommend to wear it over a thin cotton vest to avoid irritation. I am going to order another one so he has one to wear whilst one is being washed.

I bought this product to support an incisional abdominal hernia. It is breathable and strong enough to contain the hernia without using the pressure pad and reasonably comfortable to wear. However, it would be a great deal more comfortable if the corners were rounded and all of the edges were covered with soft tape to prevent the velcro chafing the skin. I also found the thick pressure pad very uncomfortable so stopped using it - in my particular case a larger, thinner pad would be far better.

Took it out of packet, tried on over T shirt and quickly realised it would be unsuitable - not flexible enough to fit contours (might be OK if the wearer is rotund), applies pressure where not needed, too wide for what I need substantially overlapping belt line/pelvis and ribs (I now see I need a 3 to 4 inch wide thin flexible stretchy band to hold a small pad in place). Yet Amazon is not accepting returns.Had this been a shirt or blouse, return would have been possible. These hernia belts are not worn over open wounds, they are not in contact with any bodily fluid. The upper abdominal band is not even anywhere near ones genitals. The "no return" policy makes no sense (unless it is a legal requirement due to covid).

Great product, and always delivered within specified time .. they do stretch out a bit with wear but i get about six months or so out of each one, i suppose it depends on individual use but i wear mine every day. I have a large upper abdominal hernia after major surgery, i am currently on a waiting list for an operation to repair the hernia, i honestly couldn't move about without wearing this support, it means i can at least get about and do what i need to do, so yeah, it's a godsend for me. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone with an abdominal hernia. 5 stars , i'd be lost without it.

Bought one for when I am lifting heavy beehives, to save any complcations with a small umbilical hernia. Works a treat, and surprisingly comfortable. I find it easier to wear over a thin shirt, which is also easier for removal when the lifting is done.I was so impressed I bought another for my son, who helps me move bees and has the same problem and is equally enthusiastic.
