Fantastic
I am home based worker and spend about 60% of my time in teleconferences. I have tried (and returned) a few products supposed to improve the ease of conducting teleconferences over VOIP and Microsoft Lync. Some units were double the price of this unit but weren't great. I was starting to think that there was nothing that was going to meet my home office needs until I tried this speakerphone! If you are looking for a USB speakerphone, you need look no further. Hands-down this is the best product by a very long way!Good points:# true plug and play.# excellent speaker and mic quality... Fantastic actually (it has made it a big difference to my participation in teleconferences).# excellent volume with very rich sound.# amazingly sensitive mic (no complaints of metallic distortion from other meeting participants).# tap-touch volume control and mute button with nifty indicators to show volume and mute on.# feels well made and solid with non-slip base.# cord wraps around base for easy packing in the pouch it comes with.# it is small enough to be fully portable but probably not quite small enough to fit easily into a small laptop bag.Only one minor negative comment: the "answer" and "call end" buttons didn't automatically integrate with Lync on my pc and I have to use the traditional on-screen buttons. I understand that this can be corrected with a software install but I haven't bothered because I would have to get IT to install it. Very minor comment. UPDATE: my IT department installed the Jabra software. It works very well and connects seamlessly with Lync. You can even put participants on hold. i have had this product for several months and still love it.As it so happens, my company (7,000 staff, multinational) simultaneously ran a trial with the Jabra 410. They came to the same conclusion and the speakerphone is now available in all our conference rooms! If you have a lot of VOIP or lync conference calls, this speakerphone is for you. It is worth ever penny.

Excellent little device
It's a nice little speaker with good sound quality, very good mic quality and range. Prior to getting my own I've used these in conference rooms larger than they claim it is good for with no problems. Touch controls are simple, reliable and easy to use. Clear at a glance when you are muted (much better than fiddling with mute buttons in a video conference app), and works well via bluetooth too. It even looks good. I almost always use it plugged in to my laptop so cannot comment on battery life.Yes, there are cheaper units out there, and if you are only using it yourself in your home office it's more than you need. But you know what, even if that's all you are doing it is still a nice unit if you have the money.

Excellent little conference speaker
Excellent little conference speaker. I work from home and have a lot of meetings on Skype (formally Lync) and I got fed up with having to put on a headset. The sound quality is excellent, it is clear and loud, I have asked how I sound on the other end and people didn't know I was using a speaker, the sound was very clear. You can connect your laptop/pc via USB and also simultaneously connect your mobile with Bluetooth. As an audio speaker I tested it out with Spotify, there isn't a lot of bass with it being so small, but the sound isn't tinny, however its a conference speaker, if you wanted an audio listening speaker you probably would have bought something else that's cheaper and sounds better for music. The speaker is plug and play as far as the laptop/pc goes, mine just worked, I doubled checked the settings in Skype and it automatically picked up the speaker, for Bluetooth like any other device it has to be paired, I have paired and used it with a Samsung Note 5, S5, OnePlus2 without issues. On the top of the speaker there are touch controls for volume, mute, start/end call, LEDS on the top indicate the volume level, a white LED comes on when its switched on, when paired with Bluetooth and additional blue light comes on. The speaker has spoken instructions and tells you when it turns it has connected to something. It is has rechargeable battery and is very portable and is supplied with a neoprene type zip case, the USB cable wraps around the speaker and latches so there arnt any annoying trailing cables.

Excellent speaker and microphone with some Bluetooth limits on Windows 10
Getting the good stuff out of the way - the sound quality is excellent and the microphone is really superb. I've used this for a good month now, fully working from home. With conferences on Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, these have all been much clearer, easier to interact on, using the 510. If I'm not on video as well, it is entirely feasible to walk around the room and still participate. I have even used this as the sole sound source and microphone in a hybrid meeting, very large space, twenty people online with twenty people present. Everyone in the room could hear (up to 20 feet away) and even questions asked from the floor were entirely audible to the online participants. So technically this is an awesome piece of kit for small to medium meetings in most venues (I haven't tried this in a noisier environment yet). The only downside I have noted is that the Bluetooth connection is not compatible with Windows 10 (confirmed by Jabra support, Windows 10 will not see the Jabra bluetooth device; my model is 7510-209) and you have to use the USB connection; Bluetooth works absolutely fine with mobile devices and headsets. You can purchase a Jabra Link 370 to get a Windows connection via Bluetooth but that's not cheap for what it does so I won't bother. This somewhat limits the convenience of connectivity and feels clumsy in an otherwise excellent product, so drops it to four stars, but overall, highly recommended.
