Enter the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5.
This is the fifth sequel in the series and the third game to appear on PS2.There's 5 new characters in this game: Asuka Kazama, Devil Jin, Feng Wei,Jinpachi Mishima and Raven. There's also old favourites that return: Bruce Irvin, Ganryu etc. There's some characters that return in this game that they haven't made any appearances since Tekken 2, except for Tekken Tag.There's the same old modes as usual like Story Battle, Team Battle, Time Attack etc. and there's a few new modes in this game.Arcade Battle is like a ranking system and as you go through the mode, your rank gets better.Devil Within mode is like action game, where you play as Devil Jin and you through the stages while beating up opponents.Customization mode, here's where the fun starts. As you go through the arcade battle, you will earn money throughout the stages you beat and you can spend that money to customise the characters with different accessories and that - or you can buy a third costume for the characters.Arcade History, here's a big bonus. Not only do you get one game, but you get four games in one and with this mode, you get arcade versions of Tekken 1, 2 and 3. Which is no big deal, but it's pretty nice idea though.Overall, if you are looking for the best in the series or the best of the beat 'em ups, then this is it. If you don't own this game, then why not?

Played it back in 06 or 07 can't remember! but damn its so good I've had to buy it again in 2013!
This is the second best Tekken game after the unforgettable Tekken 3. After being somewhat let down by T6 and not really enjoying Tekken tag tournament 2 I wanted to play this game again so have bought it again. The fighting style in this is very balanced everything works whenever you try any combos without lag. Game play is also very fasting with great graphics. Music also great. Modes are all there. Unfortunately no Tekken force mode but replaced with "Devil within" where you get to play as Devil Jin (good for first 2 stages then after it drags) Best thing about this has been the ability to play Tekken arcade mode where you can play Tekken 1, 2 and 3! So much fun I won't forget this game. Even 7 years without playing this, it still seems to be so much fun. Definitely worth being in your collection. The fact that this game is still so highly priced everywhere just shows how great and demanded this game still is.

I gave this game a real fair chance. It's the first "Tekken" title I've ever brought - I'm more of a "Soul Calibur" or "Dead or Alive" man myself. I will never, ever purchase another "Tekken" game after this one.The main issue I have with the game is the lack of skill involved. From what I can gather, Guarding, Blocking and Reversal attacks play a minimum role in the gameplay mechanics. It's all about notching up ridiculously large combo attacks. That might be fine - but there isn't much skill involved in doing that.On the plus side, the visuals are stunning. Namco must be congratulated for getting such amazing character models out of the PlayStation 2 hardware. This game looks incredible, make no mistake about it. Unfortunatley - that's not enough for me. I need a bit more substance to my fighters.I will certainly never buy another "Tekken" game again. I found this really irritating. The game is just yet another "Button Basher". No skill required. The end Boss of the Story mode is very badly designed also - he is not skilled, but he can take away 75% of your health with one move. That's not a challenge - it's an irratation. If you like games that require a bit of skill, steer well clear of this one. "Tekken 5" is a bit like Paris Hilton. Damn nice to look at, but there isn't a whole lot going on beneath the service. Avoid.
