This was a funny joke after spine surgery for me. We were headed on a cruise and had the drink package. I was on a struck NO lift! Good quality, reusable, length was perfect. Just what I needed. I would imagine an elderly person would enjoy these too.

I wish it was a few inches longer.Some reviewers complain about dripping from the mouthpiece.I noticed this too, but will experiment as I think this can be resolved. I doubt it is a major problem.Found the solution: Silicone 10mm Straw Cover. These fit perfectly and solve any dripping.Amazon carries several brands of them.

As far as length these straws are perfect. However, they are hard to use, you suck in more air than your drink. Unable to use and unable to return.

I had neck surgery one month ago and using very long straws is very important. Unfortunately, these straws only keep the specific shape I bend them in for a few days. After that they start drooping. I’ve even had it spill my flavored water all over my floor and throw blanket. It’s also very hard squatting down. I can’t drive so I have to throw away the straw I was using and try another one from the box it came in. I am hoping to get a full refund. Since I can’t drive yet and I’ve already thrown away about half of the straws. I am not willing to try and return any of the remaining items.
