Great book for beginners and advanced investors with great advice and information
I really enjoyed reading this book which clearly provided great information on the pros and cons of investing. Great way to invest without buying a single property.

Would be a great book if not for multiple mistakes
This would be a great book except for the multiple mistakes made in Chapter 7 which is the chapter where you really get into the nitty gritty with ratios and the like. After Chapter 7 I didn't read further but I did contact Freeman who acknowledged the errors and offered to re-publish and send me a copy. I am hoping they do so, so far I have not heard anything back since mid Jan, 2023. Still, I'm hopeful that this book can be corrected and made fantastic.

If you want to know how to incorporate REIT investing to your portfolio, then this is the book.
What can I say, Freeman Publications has done it again. I really enjoyed the insights on the methodology to evaluate REITs and to know what to look for. This guidance becomes invaluable when deciding on REIT investing. You can’t go wrong with having a good foundation to build on and knowing the difference in the two types of REITS. This book will definitely get you started on the right foot. I highly recommend this book.

Excellent and simple introduction to REIT investing.
I have about 12% of my portfolio invested in REITs, so I was happy to learn a few more insights into how to evaluate REIT investments. Not only does the book provide a basic background of REITs, but it also provides detailed methods of how to evaluate the key types of REITs and how to calculate important metrics. The book also provides guidance on what to look out for from a risk perspective. I feel confident that I am now better equipped to better select REIT investments.

Considering Reits? This is a must read
I'm so happy I purchased and read this book. Short and concise and filled with everything you need to know about Reits. The author not only shares his top picks, but provides comprehensive analysis of each company, appreciate that!

Easy to follow
If only I knew then what I know now...... Just got into stock investing a few years ago now, since the bank interest was so pathetic! These books have helped to dispel the idea that investing in stocks is scary and a sure way to lose your money. Far from it!This is I think my 10th book from Freeman Publications (first was Dividend Growth Investing) easy to read and understand to get you on your way in investing. Straight forward, not pushing you into anything, with a few recommendations you can take or not, and you should do your own research anyway, it just gives some insight on how to go about it.I've decided I'm a Dividend investor, with a few options thrown in here and there. Love that passive income! If I could only have found this out years ago, I could have retired early!

It seems aimed more for the American market!
REITs are an interesting investment area but seem to be entirely an American investment vehicle. This book is an interesting read but the section for international investors seems to be tagged on rather than a genuine way for UK, European and International investors to really use REITs as part of their portfolio. That said, I like the approach of Freeman Publications and am not trying to criticise the writing style or general enthusiasm for private investors (big and small) to increase their portfolios for the future. All I would say is that if you have a 401k then read this book, but if you don't (and especially if you don't know what a 401k is) then probably look at one of their other investment books.

Haven't wasted a penny.
This is the sixth book I've bought from freeman publications and just like the other five I've bought it is worth every penny. All have been written in a way that doesn't imply that the reader is either a simpleton or a financial genius, they have been written for normal people and each book takes you through the subject step by well laid out step.Even if you only have a vague interest in any of the subjects that these books cover then you will not go far wrong by "investing" in any one of them. They have set me on a journey I never expected and for that alone I can't recommend them enough.Ian Thewliss.

Good, solid advice
When you are approaching 50 you need good, solid advice which this book provides in spades. This is the second book I have read from Freeman and I like the layman's style of writing because we are not all investing whizz kids and every little bit of easy to follow advice is helpful. Keep up the good work.
