Well thought out, easy to use. Works well
Update:I bought this about two months ago.My original review was wrong - the hose for sealing external devices - Mason Jars (with a special adapter) or canisters with a vacuum lid is under the top half of the sealer.I've sealed meat, and also dry stuff, with this sealer. The double seal is TIGHT - no water has gotten through on anything I cooked in my Sous Vide (my earlier sealer leaked, and ruined some meat - and let air in on other 'seal' jobs, letting the meat in the bags get freezer burn). This is a good product. It has a five year warranty (according to the company). Support has been fairly fast. There's another similar model from another company that uses a wider sealing bar. I haven't tried it.The Saetao, with its two bars, has a kind of 'fail safe' - even if one seal should fail (and I haven't had this happen), the other should hold.I'm happy with this sealer.Original review:I bought this on Prime Day. The description made it seem like a good upgrade for the very functional vacuum sealer that I already have.Shortly after I bought this, I saw a price reduction on the top of the line Magic Seal 400 that I'd been wanting for many months.I initially thought that I would return the Seatao sealer, and keep the MagicSeal. The MagicSeal does a lot more. It does things that I may not ever need. This isn't a MagicSeal review, so I won't elaborate.I decided to take a closer look at the Saetao sealer. Its 8 inch width matched the sealer that I currently use. It's higher, possibly because it has two pumps and should get stronger vacuum.I like the fact that it has a cord in the back, and a place to wrap the cord when it's not in use.I like this better than a separate cord that plugs into the power supply on one end, and the sealer on the other. This arrangement let me use rolls of vacuum seal material (rather than dedicating the 'roll' area on my other sealer to hold the power cord). Note that this is 8" wide, so wider bags won't work in this sealer.I used this for a few different bagging tasks. It didn't do at all well with moist contents - I tried to seal a bag of hot dogs, put into a bag designed for vacuum sealing. It didn't give me a good seal. I'll probably try it on moist foods. It did a good job on dry materials. I sealed bags of oatmeal, and got a tight bag with an impressive double seal. One of its strengths is a handle that makes it easy to lock the top to the bottom, creating a solid seal for the vacuum.(I've seen reviews of other sealers where the reviewer didn't realize that it's easy to lock the sealer by pressing on each side of the sealer. Some reviewers didn't realize this, some pushed down on the top while a seal was being made, others apparently attempted to push down in the middle of the top, hoping that the top will somehow lock.(This vacuum sealer comes with basic settings, Moist or dry, for example, plus another setting for other things being bagged. Automatic vacuum and seal works pretty well. There's an option to pulse the vacuum, you can do this for things like potato chips, where you don't want to crush them, but still want to remove some air and seal the bag.The sealer is also able to work with a hose (not included) that can be connected to special vacuum canisters, or to an accessory that allows you to remove the air from Mason jars.In summary, this sealer has a lot going for it. I'll probably keep it after all.The other sealer - that I really wanted - was $100 more and twice as wide. It probably won't see much more use than the one that I'm reviewing here. I'll probably be sending the MagicSeal back. The SEATAO is like a Lincoln or Cadillac (pick your own luxury car) - solid, with nice features and performance. The MagicSeal is more like a large car transporter (pick you vehicle here) - more features, much larger, but with little more useful functions.I like the SEATAO. You probably can't go wrong with it. (If I have problems with other moist products, I'll update this review)

Buon prodotto

BLEW UP AFTER 10 MINUTES
I vacuum-sealed six little packets. Turned it off for five minutes then turned it back on and I heard a loud pop. It would not turn on again. Now I have been asked to return the item to the nearest UPS depot for return which is a 10-hour return drive. I am not at all happy with the product or their return or refund policy. I don't think I will be buying much from Amazon anymore as they do not stand by the products they sell.

Replacement next day service delivery
First vac-Sealer had a few missing parts and had perversely been opened. Called Amazon got a new one delivered next day or two. Great customer service. Pleased with this vac-Sealer. Light weight easy to store and works well. Especially like the double seal. And it says right on the front does not recommend vacuum sealing soups. That’s ok I think you can use the pulse vac and then seal before liquid gets to the top. I plan on trying anyway. Fun kitchen tool.
