If you never tried Biofreeze, I’m not really sure what to tell you. Especially on a roller. If you have back pain, you roll this on like deodorant and it immediately works. There’s no waiting. It doesn’t last as long as icy hot but it feels a lot better. It goes on a lot easier and it doesn’t leave any grease in your hands, it’s like deodorant for back pain. It really is a remarkable product and I actually saw a chiropractor recently who offered me a bottle and that’s when I knew for sure that I got the right stuff. I strongly recommend it

This stuff is AMAZING!!! I have a slipped disc and several separated vertebrae which leaves me in a lot of pain. I take Neurontin and opiate pain meds and neither of them are ever enough management for my pain. Biofreeze is an absolute necessity in my life and I don’t know what I would do without it. For new users, please keep in mind that for some reason, it works best when there is added pressure to the affected are after applying. For instance, when I put it on my back I feel a light cooling sensation that gives a bit of pain relief. HOWEVER, when I sit with my back against the couch after applying, it amplifies the cooling sensation by 1000%, where it practically numbs my whole back. So apply. Then lay back, put on the tube or grab a good book and relax. One downside to this stiff is it does smell. My husband, who is very sensitive to smells says it burns his eyes. Another, is if you have back issues you will need someone to help you apply it. But other than that, I seriously don’t k know what I would do without it. For me it takes about a half hour to wear off. But even though I cant feel the menthol passed that point, I can still feel the pain relief. Most of the time it takes over an hour for my pain to get bad enough where I need to reapply. Also, keep in mind that even though it smells, the smell doesn’t really linger on clothes and furniture. So if you forget to put down a towel, don’t worry. In a couple days the smell will be gone.

So it does not last as long as it says that it does but I'm okay with that. I love the smell of the stuff it's effectiveness it does take the pain away. I'm the type that loves the smell of a lot of mentholy things so that doesn't help if you don't like the smell of mentholic things. No photo here because I'm not going into my bedroom right now.

Love the stuff when my muscles are sore, and it's an added bonus being in a roll on bottle, which, when using on your own body body body, you can apply pressure which for me helps work into the muscle

This is a great product. It helps so much great value for the money arrives on time. The smell could be a little better other than that it's great. I wish they could make these kinds of product smell like apples really good fresh apples or something similar it could dry a little quicker other than that no complaints

The first time we saw Biofreeze was on shelf at chiropractor's office, we were interested at the time but waited to purchase until we were on Amazon. Since that time we have constant user's of Biofreeze, before the pain and ache hits and afterward. It is effective almost immediately and lasts a long time. I'm still amazed at hoe iy attacks the pain. The value for the money is great, so it goes a long way. Go ahead, give it a try, we think you will be glad you did.

The top 3 gels that I have used for pain and stiff muscles! I use a lot of these products for my pain from arthritis and injuries. There are several available on the market that are pretty good but one stands out ahead of the rest. Some produce a hotter sensation, work faster and last longer. Others can give you more product for less cost. None of the top 3 are bad but have various advantages and disadvantages. These comments are based upon my opinion only and from my use of the products. Number 1: Biofreeze Professional is the strongest and best of the three pain reliever gels reviewed here. It is easy to apply with the rolled ball applicator. You do not have to use your hands. It instantly begins to get hot and it is much hotter than the other two gels reviewed here. It’s power comes from 5% Menthol and it’s warming effect lasts at a higher level for me for several hours. It is the longest lasting gel I have used. Even taking a shower 8 hours later makes it rewarm up on your skin. It is also the more expensive product of the three but the effects for me are much better. It gets me so warm, so fast that I have to avoid a draft of air, after I apply it, or else I get a chill. Rating 5 stars. Number 2: Regular Biofreeze is a good product with 4% Menthol. It has the same effects as Biofreeze Professional except the professional grade is stronger and better. It is easy to apply with the rolled ball applicator. You do not have to use your hands. The warming effect occurs quickly and does a good job. The effect, for me, does not last as long as the professional grade of Biofreeze. It is also more expensive per ounce than Asorbine Liniment but is easier to apply. Rating 4 stars Number 3: Asorbine Veterinary Liniment Gel works fast and has a good warmth factor. It doesn’t seem to last as long as Biofreeze Professional. It is less expensive than Biofreeze products as you get more ounces for your money. This product contains 4% Menthol. It does not take a lot to cover your injured area. For my big knee I use a dot amount the size of a small to medium sized marble. It easily rubs in and soaks into your skin. It has a pleasant minty smell that diminishes quickly. Wash your hands thoroughly after applying and do not touch your eyes. Rating 4 stars. These are all good products. For strength and lasting effect the Biofreeze Professional is the best performer. You can’t really go wrong purchasing any of these top brands. I hope this comparison is helpful for you. Pain is something that no one should live with and finding the right product for your use is important. You have to judge how good each product helps you. If you are in pain it is important for you to test each product and determine which one is best for you. I use this at night and it helps me to go to sleep and wake up relaxed. I love the ease or rolling it onto your sore areas and keeping your hands clean. I recently tore the rotar cuffs in both shoulders. I am undergoing 16 weeks of theraphy to avoid surgery and this product has helped me a lot to reduce my soreness and pain.

I had a friend recommend this product as I experience knee and hip pain. The roll-on applicator is easy to use and the Biofreeze clear liquid dries quickly and no heavy scent. If I get up during the night and I have any aches, I'll use the product and I get relief that allows me to fall back to sleep. The only complaint I have is with the company (Peace Beauty Love) in the Amazon Marketplace I purchased from. The expiry date is November 2020, which is in four months. I was told by my massage therapist (also an advocate of this product) that since the plastic bottles are individually sealed the Biofreeze won't lose it's potency.

We have used the product for some time for a variety of pains and have never been disappointed in its expected performance. It goes on smoothly. Is not greasy and performs quickly effectively. For several days, I was waking each morning with cramps in my legs as I was getting out of bed. After applying Biofreeze to my legs at bedtime, I woke up the following morning without the cramping. That was about a week ago and the condition has not yet returned. If it does, I will repeat the procedure.

This stuff is magic. Helps with all muscle pain, and the roller application helps when you haven’t someone to assist with application on those hard to reach places. A great alternative to swallowing handfuls of painkillers.
