Fun!
This was a lot of fun for a first time kintsugi trier. The little bowls that came with it for practice were helpful, I recommend putting them in a plastic bag (one at a time) and dropping them from a height to get a natural break with bigger pieces. I tried smashing it in the bag with a hammer for one of them and it shattered into too small pieces so I couldn't really put it back together.

Great for a personal or small group activity
I coordinated an activity with my family, super great set. The glue was a hard to make it work, but did dry after a few days. If you choose to use with a young crowd make sure the sample bowls are not broken into too many pieces, just one hit with the hammer should work. We did too me small pieces.

Breaking the bowls
I thought it was easy to use and the directions were excellent. Make sure to read the directions first. The mixture dries quickly and a little at a time should be made. My only critique would be that there was no instruction on how to break the bowls. I finally gave up and just broke a bowl that I already had.

Tacky glue
The items in the kit were beneficial, especially the tiny pottery dishes. I followed the instructions: 1st attempt, I cracked the practice vase and attempted to glue it back together with no success. The glue mixed well with the gold power, and the color was vibrant, but the glue did not seal the vase. I let the vase sit overnight, and the glue was still tacky, and the vase fell apart when I picked it up.On the 2nd attempt, I used Dollar Store super glue, and within one minute, the bond held, and the dish was repaired. Next, I mixed the adhesive in the kit with the gold power to cover up the crack lines in the dish, attempting to create the gold look. I let it dry overnight, but the glue was still wet and tacky. I was not pleased with the outcome. The kit is good for everything but the glue.
