Firm plastic.
I give this product 5 stars for the reason that it works way better, firm plastic quality than the frame that comes with my epson. I shoot in 6x7 and 6x4.5, in 6x7 you can get one frame at a time but I don’t get those bends that create weird rainbow halos. It holds the film down flat, even if the film was only drying a few hours. Haven’t had the chance to scan 645 but I’m sure it will be helpful as well. Doing things fast is great but, I shoot with a Mamiya rb67 and Yashica mat124G, we are already taking our time to shoot the film… take your time scanning if you can. It’s time consuming but all the money spent just to get to this point and ruin the scan is ridiculous. I hope one day someone can make a super firm quality plastic frame that does at least two frames of 67 but for now, this is my go to.

Perfect replacement for Original
Excellent replacement for the originally provided film holder.

Works well with large format negatives
Just what I had been looking for to scan my 220 x 220 & 220 x 620 b & w negatives on my Epson Perfection V600 Photo film scanner.

Fits well but a little flimsy
It fits the scanner just fine, but the negative holder gate is a little too flimsy to hold really curly negatives.

Works as advertised
This film holder is a perfect fit in the Epson Perfection V600 and holds the 120 film negatives as it should. Not much else to say about it other than it is a good value.

Worked EXACTLY as Advertised !!!
This Item allowed me to scan 616 & 127 negatives that were from my Mothers youth in the 1940’s and 1950’s!!

Not compatible as listed
Listing and listing title say it’s compatible with Epson Perfection 4180 but the tab to hold it in place isn’t in the right spot and the general prohibition symbol is on the wrong end, meaning the space that is supposed to be open for the scanner to properly function is in the wrong spot.

120 film is too small for the opening
This one is the correct size for scanning 620 size negative film. It fits properly with the Epson V600 scanner. The opening is too big for 120 size negative film. I will keep shopping for 120 size.
