I don't think so, i use it on my mum she is confined to bed, it is brilliant no mess, shampoo comes out like water but when you rub it it lathers up you towel dry it and comb hair through, mums hair is a bit tatty but not that much, leaves mums hair shiny and smells lovely, hope this info helps :)

Q: Is it ok to use on coloured hair?

I have used it on semi permanent coloured hair (deep purple) and I must admit that it washed out. Not too sure how it affects permanent hair colouring though.

This product will be ideal for your purposes. I use it all the time and I have found it improved the condition condition of my hair as well. To make more manageable to use I pour it into a squirty dispenser.,
