For the price, this is a nice kit.It comes with 4 different colors for the cheeks. A bronzer, a blush and highlighters. It does NOT come with a brush.The palette it comes in snaps shut nicely and stays shut. The individual color blocks are a decent size. They are easy to use with a brush and plenty so this can last me a good bit of time.My skin type: I am on the lightest side of skin color. When buying foundation, I am in the palest colors.It has nice neutral colors that work well with pale skin.It doesn't stick to the brush very well when it applying, but still picks up product after a couple swishes of the brush.It is not super pigmented. It takes several applications of the contour and blush to show up.Highlight is perfect for my skin tone. It is very natural and light.This is a great beginners kit. Light coverage. Can't get too crazy with it.

I have light skin with golden undertones for reference. The shade “clubs” was the only one in this palette that won’t work for my skin tone. It is a dark metallic copper highlighter/bronzer. I could probably use it as an eyeshadow, but definitely not as a face product. The other 3 shades are great. I especially love the shade “diamonds” as a shimmery blush. It is so pretty on the cheeks and perfect for summer. Overall, the powders in this face palette are very pigmented and easy to apply/blend. I enjoy wearing them, just wish all 4 shades worked for me. This palette is probably best for medium to tan skin tones.

My teen loves experimenting with all things color in makeup, and loves this palette. While there is no brush included in the palette, the quantities are generous. Her skin tone is olive, and they work well with her skin tone. My skin tone is a rich brown, and they work on my skin as well. You can get a wide range of coverage by just applying a little more or less.The compact also closes tight - great for when you throw your makeup in your bag and then put a giant book on top of it.It's affordable, and the quantities of product are generous. We'll likely pick up another one once she runs out.

This review is for the Carter Beauty Mixed Face Palette.This is in a cool "Full House" theme with four color choices labeled spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs. -These are beautiful colors, with soft mattes, shimmering hues and glittering finishes. This palette includes what you need to be able to contour, highlight and blush. It does not come with a brush which surprised me but then I thought of how I typically use my own brush set and think others probably do the same.The carrying case stays closed. This stays on most of the day with an occasional need for touch up- but usually only if I have been outside and get sweaty.Affordable set with a good amount of product.

This is a nice compact makeup set if you are looking for colors that glimmer, which seems to be the new "thing."Personally, I am not crazy about the shining quality, or the metals that are included.And alas this makeup is made in China.

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love the set together for the bronzer, highlighter, blush and a sparkly bronzer! Keeps it easy to have all those in one compact that’s got a great little magnetic snap to make sure it closes. It blended very easily when contouring and lasted all day even in the desert heat.

These are 4 subtle colors in a palette. It does not come with an applicator, so you'll need your own. 2 of the colors have shimmer, while the other 2 are matte.The go on easily and the color is buildable. They are pretty powdery, so you will need to be careful when applying. The colors are quite subtle (3 coats of each shown on arm) and they come off with water. This makes them easy to wash off when you are ready, but does not give them much staying powder during the day.Overall, they are a nice daytime color palette for a subtle look.
