We have a deck on the back of our house that was enclosed with windows & screens. It gets very cold here during the winter, so I ordered this V shaped weatherstripping to go between the wooden boards on the floor to stop some of the cold air from getting in. It works like a champ. It was easy to use, just cut it to size and pushed it in using a kitchen knife. And it's invisible because it blends in so well with the colour of the wood. It looks like a shadow. It cuts down on the air flow. Would buy this again.

Good quality. Stick to wood frame well. But I could use more instructions or videos to show me how to apply it effectively. I have a door that closes fairly tight but does not have weather strip on the frame. I tried to find something similar to the weather strip on my garage door but did not find that in Home Depot. I ordered this weather strip from Amazon without any idea if it will fit. After the weather strip arrived, I tried to install it. It took me quite a bit of time to figure out where to stick it yet allowing the door to close completely. The weather strip is a bit thick. It works well if a door or window has a gap. But if a door close fairly tight, you need to find a way to stick the weather strip so that it does not prevent a door from closing. I understand that everyone has a different situation. One person may find the weather strip too thick, while another person find it too thin or small. Better information and instructions will help. Regarding the adhesive, it worked very well for me on a wooden door frame. It will not work well on uneven or dusty surfaces.

Easy to install. Sealed around the door.

This is medium weight weather stripping. It is true to size (1/2" x 1/2"). The vinyl "fabric" cover over the foam is consistent with no holes or gaps. Installation is easy. The big problem is that the weather stripping is folded over - hard - every 16" to fit it into the shipping bag, resulting in permanent creases and wrinkles (take a look at Light Seeker's video review to see how the product is folded). These creases and wrinkles cause sealing gaps when the product is installed. The manufacturer acknowledges that the product gets wrinkled in shipping but claims these wrinkles won't have any effect on the seal, but they do. And the wrinkles can't be eased out with a heat gun or hair dryer. I'll probably have to replace this weather stripping next spring.

easy to apply.was able to reposition it ,seems the longer it was on the harder to remove. not cold air coming in now.

The product is good in terms of workmanship, but the shipping method destroyed the corner edges, which will cause the insulator to leak air and not insulate the way it was made for. I give 2 stars for Shipping Bad packing .

For some reason, the v shape style is not so popular anymore, but this one works even better because of it's foamy structure, seals the gap perfectly isolating sound and dust

FOR CONVERTIBLE OWNERS ... I use this around/between the roof of my GT TURBO to help stop WATER leaks coming through whenever it RAINS ... could use it to be a little WIDER on the sticky side; however, once pressed firmly in place to the nylon retractable top & along the front GLASS of the windshield ... works pretty good. Do have to RE-enforce pressure from time to time to maintain a 'LEAK-PROOF SEAL" Still can't take it through a CONTACTLESS car wash, however, still safer in rainy weather. IN THE WINTERTIME, the roof stays UP, so no need to make splits for the BENDS of the roof's fame to go down. In TOP-DOWN DAYS a more exact application WITH separations where the tape needs to separate or FOLD at the roof's metal frame to bend while retracting into & out of the trunk ... AND I use a portable PowerWasher to wash & spray her down myself ...

The weather stripping in my house is very similar but unfortunately this product was not thick enough. Great quality, but sadly it just wasn't ideal for my home. I did find that the plastic coating was excellent and it stuck to the door frame securely. I of course couldn't return it but keeping for internal use on my cold room door.
