The media could not be loaded. The jar opener arrived as described and looks exactly like the picture. I have a family member whose hands do not function properly and has difficulty opening jars, so I thought this would perfect for them. I ended up purchasing four of these to give to other family members and my in-laws. I appreciate that there are several different size options all in one tool, making it easier to store. I have tested this on various jars and each time it is very easy to use; does not require much pressure or strength to twist the lid off (unlike a grippy mat). A stuck lid may take a few seconds to open with this tool. This is a must-have for anyone, as it makes opening things much easier while saving your hands. It is an excellent stocking stuffer, housewarming gift, or anytime gift, as it is affordable and very useful.

Makes opening jars and other screw-on lids a breeze. The design lets me get a great grip on both the lid I want to remove and the tool itself. Multiple size notches make it very functional for multiple applications. It's got enough stretch to it that installing it or attaching it to a lid is very easy without sacrificing grip.

Opening jars can be extremely frustrating, especially for those with weaker grip strength. The Otstar Jar Opener make the process so much easier, although as others have noted the jar twist part of the tool is really limited to smaller jars. In other words, it's great for most of the world, but a lot of American products come in larger lids than the size options provided.BUT - where this product shines are the hooks on the top edge of the tool. Those make it so much easier to open jars by releasing the air pressure when used on the top part of lids. I'm sure there are other tools which accomplish this task just as easily, but the process just felt much more simplified with this jar opener. I'm sure I'll find more use cases for the rest of the tool eventually, but I found that just that part alone was worth the purchase.

very workable on various sized jars with effective gripping an minimal turning effort

This was recommended by a friend. It has opened several jars and aluminum beer type bottles that are getting increasingly difficult for me to open. I’m very pleased with product! I would highly recommend!

Easy-to-use. Add a case of fruit drink delivered. Unable to open them because of the top.It was too tight. Have Arthritis in my hands? This tool is awesome.Works beautifully

Not exactly what I expected. It is very heavy which makes it sturdy but it also makes it hard to use if you already have painful arthritic hands.It has small openings too and you must exert a lot of strength to use the largest opening. Again, it seems to have quality but lacks functionality. Cant use.

I'm not sure how this works so well, but it is great for opening those bottle caps and jar caps that seem to just get harder and harder to open. You try and try to twist some off and it just won't come off. With this device - NO PROBLEM! Works well on multiple sizes.
