Girl's World Bead and Style Head

Purchased as a gift for daughter. All accessories are excellent and provides hours of fun. There has been some initial hair loss, however this has significantly lessened after a couple of weeks of play. The loss of hair has not affected the enjoyment factor or overall look of the doll.The styling head is very light, and consequently is not stable on a table/desk when being played with. It has no method of being secured to a surface. We have purchased separately some 'suckers' and super-glued these to the underside of the base, This has made all the difference.

I bought this at a not too bad price in October and put it away for Christmas. My daughter loves doing hair and we have an old Barbie head given by her cousin and she wanted a new one. She is really pleased with it BUT at just a day of playing with it the cord attached to the hair extension snapped. My daughter is 9 years old and very careful. I wonder whether a 4 or 5 year old would be as gentle. Therefore I have doubts about whether this toy is as robust as it should be. We have managed to cobble together a repair which has shown that the cord is just tied around a loop of hair on the extension. How long it will last now remains to be seen.

Nothing much seems to have changed about this since I was a kid. My 5 year old loves it and it proved a good xmas buy for the time she spends on it (being an only child could be relevant here). I thought they could have done more to bring it up to date and found a better way to fasten the hair in / make it longer/shorter. Some sucker-cup feet would also be useful as it falls over a lot when having its hair savaged. Curent amazon price seems very excessive!

In the phicher it shows a small box with what looks like eyeshadow, but it dose not come with the doll. This toy is good for kids who want to be hair dressers and helps kids with there imadguaishon. The hair extenshon it very good, but with all style head's the hair gets matted, but on this one when you brushed it the hair comes out! The brayed's equitment is good and can be used in your own hair, comes with clear instrucshons.

My 7 yr old daughter received this off Santa and was delighted with it. However, it's nowhere near the good quality of the one I had as a child. Big clumps of hair come out of this one even when brushing very gently. I hope the hair loss stops soon or we will just be left with a bald head. For the time being though, my daughter is enjoying trying out new hairstyles on it.

Little granddaughter absolutely loves it. Lots of little bits with the toy so find a little box for storage before you open it!

A gift for my 6 year old daughter. The head has silky soft hair which is easy to brush and she has great fun putting in hair clips and making different hairstyles. The product comes with hair clips and two clip in colourful hair strips. It has a strange hair extension which we don't use but it is all as expected. This will be used for many hours again and again to create many wonderful styles. Great for any young want-to-be hairdresser.

This was a fun product but seemed very delicate as strands of her hair came out.
