Used as a full on fish tank.At the time of buying I was looking for a cheap fish tank that held a lot of water. I didn't really have any Idea whether it would make a good fish tank, but all in all it has! Its a very neat design, the gaps in the top are ideal for oxygenating water, even if some of it evaporates through the gaps. The top lid is very tight and good for not letting things escape, but is flexible enough for things like wires to protrude through the top.The tank is big enough to contain a small filter and I've bought some strip LEDs to light up my tank with as unfortunately, the tinting makes the tank very dark, and its something the picture doesn't illustrate well. Also, as its perspex it does scratch easily.If your looking to use as a fish tank, it holds 21L of water and is temperature proof as I boil my water to sterilise it for the fish when I change the water. So I would assume heat mat/small lamp proof if you wanted to keep baby reptiles in it.My guppies and plants love it ( I have two promiscuous guppies who enjoy rolling around together in this spacious tank and the size can accommodate one or two more as well ) Ideal for beginners to guppy breeding or for someone who wants a cheap goldfish tank (it would hold 2 goldfish at a maximum.) The only other flaw, is that the little feet for the tank aren't exactly straight and the whole tank slopes ever so slightly, and I noticed only because of the water.Overall, for the price, I love this product. I saw something similar in a local petshop and they wanted £30 just for the tank! So a very good deal indeed!

I have several of these boxes as they are just perfect for keeping invertebrates.- Well Ventilated- Good Size- Easy to cleanI have kept snails, olive millipedes and beetles in these enclosures. I would not recommend anything bigger or with a specific humidity requirement use this box such as reptiles or amphibians. It would only be appropriate for storage while cleaning out these larger creatures due to its small dimensions and well ventilated lid.As the entire thing is made of hard plastic, it is very easy to clean. Unfortunately, after an extended period of time the transparent plastic will begin to yellow. It has a smaller hinged lid in the center of the large lift lid, this is very helpful if you have snails that sleep on the top of the enclosure.

First one arrived with no lid, requested replacement and even that one arrived with no lid. Will look elsewhere now as completely useless.

Great! I use these to keep live feeders in, locusts and roaches for beardie. Large doesn’t have handle but no big deal, lid secure and easy access to locusts thru small snap shut door on top. I also have medium and small, can fit medium inside large if you are worried like my wife about escapees. Although I doubt anything could escape. Medium and small have carry handles. Also use one for trips to vet or when cleaning out viv. Excellent product.

Does the job for the price, and will be a good home for some snails until I find something more permanent. The plastic however came out of the box with a yellow taint to it already. Other reviewers have mentioned that it took some time to develop this, but mine was there on opening. It may be a deal breaker for some buyers, YMMV.

Amazon sent this out a couple of times minus the black top. Not sure what is going on but... It's a versatile storage box for reptile live food or for housing insects.Quality and sturdiness is as per expectations from an exo terra product.

For the price you can't go wrong. The build quality isn't great, the plastic seems pretty fragile, but as long as you are careful and handle it gently its fine. I keep it on my desk, a perfect home for isopods and millipedes.

This product arrived multiple times after multiple replacements broken, and without a lid. AVOID, please.
