Love this grain! I mix with hard white and it makes delicious bread and English muffins.

I bought these on a whim, thinking “Sure, let’s chew on something our Mesopotamian ancestors probably used as currency or threw at weddings.” Little did I know, I was about to be spiritually reborn via fiber. The bag screams “rustic sophistication,” like something you’d find in a monastery gift shop next to handwoven soap and dried lavender. The grains themselves? Golden nuggets of ancient swagger. They don’t just sit in the pantry — they pose. Cooking them took roughly the same amount of time as earning a liberal arts degree. But once they softened up (read: achieved chewable enlightenment), I was greeted with a texture that’s somewhere between "toothsome" and “did I just chip a molar?” But in a good way. These berries fight back, and frankly, I respect them for it. The flavor? Buttery, nutty, and mysteriously wise. I swear one of them whispered the meaning of life between bites. Grain came in timely manner, intact multilayer paper bag inside a box. I really like baking with the flour made from this grain and have my own mill. Cannot get it locally so this is at least a source. Kind of expensive so will not make it a routine purchase. Have only bought it twice in 3 years. Grain is clean, no trash or rocks. Has higher proteins than hard red wheat. Khorazon grain has gluten that is well tolerated by most people even some who have marked gluten intolerance. Makes great bread! Stores well in cool dry climate. I stored some in my garage over the summer last year in the southeast and it got infested with bugs as any other grains would. Khorazon grain is a good health option in my opinion.

Love these grains! Ordered a second bag! I used this grain and mix with Hard White berries to help smooth out the Wheat flavor since I’m not a big fan. It helps!

I enjoyed baking bread with Kamut. The aroma while grinding these berries was pleasing. The whole bread making experience was very good and the bread tasted so much better than store bread. Worth every penny.
