Raybestos Element3 EHT™ Automotive Replacement Front Brake Pad Set for Selected Jeep Model Years (EHT477H)

I am not sure if I received a previously opened package or what. The box sounded like like it had a dozen marbles in it when I picked up the shipping envelope from the front porch. I opened the box expecting to find broken pcs. but instead all the items were just loose in the box, clanking and rubbing into each other. With the way the package delivery services throw stuff around during the transport, this is not acceptable. I carefully examined all the pads and hardware and didn't notice anything chipped / broken / bent so installed them without issue. Shame on Raybestos if this is the normal way they package these parts.

Ok... So I normally wouldn't write a review on brake pads.. but ..I normally purchase pads from Advance auto. Wagner thermoquiet ceramic..My last were either the Wearever or Carquest ceramic, as I needed them quickly and that's what was in stock..3 months into it, brakes are chattering and pulsating(rotors were resurfaced also)..I bought a new set of rotors, and decided I would go with the Raybestos, as Advanced again didn't have what I wanted..Needless to say, these are the best pads I've ever had on my car!! It has 460k miles on it, and these things are smooth and stop great! I think they'll be going on all of my cars from here on out. I highly recommended!

these are one of the few aftermarket brake pads that have initial cold bite and fade resistance as good or better than oem. great pads for a daily driver.

Wish they were still Made In USA. I have been using Raybestos chinese parts for a number of years and have been pleased. Prices are fair . I can not support the inflated prices the dealers charge or auto parts stores selling no name parts that would be difficult to trace back to the country/factory of origin. Support the OEM if you can afford it. If not, this is a safe bet based on my experience.

I'm very pleased with these brake pads. Precise braking and better than expected for the price. Great reviews on them and I agree totally.

i wasnt able to take a pic when i had it apart but the pad bracket the pad material is attached to the fits in to you bracket that you caliper attaches to is slightly to big. now i assume its cause the cheap pads and may vary from pad to pad in size. If you have a grinder you could just grind a lil bit off like less than 1/8in and the would fit with the shims the come with. If not you will have to leave out the shims to get them in. Ive dealt with this before and by leavin the shims out they will fit and work but the may be to much space at that point and they will clang wen you hit bumps but properly greased they will work that way but that is NOT rocomended of course and will most likely void any warranty do to in proper installation which is why i didnt install them and just bought pads from local store ive marked in red lines where n the pads youll probally have to grind to get them to fit and im %100 sure that will work but remeber its NOT reccomended and will void warranty dats why i just didnt fool with in case i figure out a better way ill just be 33 dats what ya get when you try to save $22 and seein how these pads are the same as pads for 03 sunfire you can see how bad over markup wihtout reason has become and dont let em tell you its cause of inflation cause in flation is only 7.1% this mark on these pads from onl;ine to brick and mortor is way more than that but other than that expeirence wasnt so bad good price compared to others harder to order than ebay but not realy diffficult came fast and look like really good pads

Like others mentioned the ears was a little tight, filed them down a bit and fit perfect. Would buy again, seems to be good quality and great price.

Everything seem ok, a little tight fit for the brake pad, just a hair bigger than the OEM, that can be done. But the big problem is the shims that comes with, it's just doesn't stay on at all, the tap just too short to stay on, so I have to reuse the shims which is stainless steel which is still in good condition. Just beware!

I had some difficultly installing- shims kept falling off and both inner pads needed a light grinding on the tabs to get them to float properly. However no squealing and good braking so far so I’m happy.
