Great Kids Mermaid Doll

A really great Little Mermaid toy.
I was pleased to try this 'OTHER DISNEY DOLLS HLX13 Toy'.The little Mermaid has been posed attractively in the branded bubble and card presentation pack. She has her skirt, that forms the fin part of her tail, folded upwards. When out, that part of the tail will then flip downwards like the photo on the card back. When you want her to have her skirt in place of the tail, then the blue and pink iridescent material, with silver splashes can be moved up the back to her waist. Then you bring the two edges together, meeting in the middle to make the skirt. The other blue stripe side is then facing outwards making an attractive looking skirt. To create the tail again you press her gold shell necklace and it pops down and out.I love her long auburn hair. It has been parted in the middle and has many delicate twisted braids going down, each side from the parting, for extra style. She has a tanned skin and hazel eyes. The clothes on the upper body are not removable. They have been formed as part of her body and 'painted' in lilac and turquoise. The upper part of the tail is also a fixed section and is in sea green colours, with scale patterns.It is suitable from age three, although I think at that age the child would need help to operate the tail/skirt mechanism.I am very happy with this model and the current price of £29.57 is fine, in my opinion, for the quality of the toy.
