Bangsite Carbide Ammo for Field Cannons - 100 Shots in Tube

My father had a Bangsite cannon from the 90's, but he ran out of the carbide many years ago and stopped using the cannon. He seemed sad about it and couldn't find it anywhere. We got him this for Christmas and his face lit up with excitement like he was a little kid. If you have a Bangsite cannon and can't find the original stuff for it, here it is. I got him the original igniter too. Don't buy the off-brand stuff.

Does exactly what it should, according to my dad it's just as good as the stuff from when he was young. If it doesn't work, you exposed it to air for too long, or you're not using water. The gas it makes when in contact with water/moisture in the air is what is flammable, not the powder itself. My cannon has a very small amount of water inside for a louder bang. More water makes it less powerful as there is less oxygen remaining

Works great in an old Big Bang cannon I picked up recently. Make sure to follow the directions - if you're not getting consistently loud bangs, try blowing in the breach of the cannon between shots. I haven't measured carefully, but I expect to get much more than 100 shots out of the tube. The cannon I have takes a very, very small "charge." Lots of fun for everyone.

Both bags came ripped apart and bangsite tube was damaged! And rock hard! Im returning it!

Don’t work to well with the little canon

Works well with the homemade cannon, the neighbors and wild life despise it, but I personally love the fact that when it goes off you feel it thump your chest.
