Reliable and Long-Lasting Batteries - Perfect for High-Usage Devices
I've been using these BONAI AA rechargeable batteries for several months, and I am thoroughly impressed. With a capacity of 2800mAh, they are some of the highest-capacity NiMH rechargeable batteries I've found, making them ideal for high-drain devices. I primarily use these batteries in my wireless gaming controllers, remotes, and a few household devices like flashlights and LED lights, and they've held up well in all of them. Key Points: 1. High Capacity: The 2800mAh capacity really makes a difference. They last significantly longer between charges than other rechargeables I’ve tried, meaning I don't have to keep switching batteries or constantly recharge them after every use. 2. Low Self-Discharge: Even after sitting for a month or so, they maintain their charge well. It’s nice not having to worry about them draining while they’re just in storage – they’re ready when I need them. 3. Pre-Charged: It was great that they came pre-charged right out of the box. I was able to use them right away without needing to wait for an initial charge. 4. Value for Money: For a pack of 24 high-capacity batteries, these are a great deal. Over time, they've already saved me from having to buy so many disposable batteries, and they still feel as reliable as when I first got them. 5. Recharge Cycles: So far, these batteries have recharged multiple times without any loss in capacity or performance. They recharge relatively quickly, especially with my fast charger, and hold up well even after several cycles. Overall, I highly recommend the BONAI AA rechargeable batteries. They’re a great choice for anyone looking to reduce waste, save money in the long term, and power their devices with reliable, long-lasting energy.

Excellent choice in rechargeable batteries
These rechargeable batteries are attractive and seem to be working well, so far. The company offers a 2year warranty so that is very nice. I am glad I got the charger and batteries as I was not happy with throwing away spent batteries so often.

REVISED: Brought dead batteries back to life with a universal charger.
REVISION: I bought these in July 2024. In Jan 2026 they are dropping like flies. That is 18 months of continuous charge and discharge in electronic door locks. I did not come close to recharging them 1200 times in 18 months. Maybe 18 to 20 times. I will switch to rechargeable lithium for my door locks. CORRECTION: I purchased rechargeable lithium batteries from EBL along with their universal charger (charges lithium and non-lithium batteries). Before throwing out 5 more Bonia batteries that my old charger said was dead, I put them in the EBL universal charger and it brought them back to life. I increased my rating to 4 stars. I also did more research on using rechargeable batteries of any kind in Yale door locks and there are a couple of considerations, one, these electronic locks really burn through batteries so do your research on the locks you are interested in. Two, for the Yale model that I have, it alerts you when the batteries reach 25% capacity. Non-rechargeable batteries start off at 1.5v and steadily drop. Hit 25% you get a text and email, replace the battery and start over again. Non-Lithium rechargeable batteries start at 1.2v remain steady for a while then drops. Your 25% warning could go off very quickly. After a while I was ignoring the warning and just waited for the lock to stop working. This may have drained the Bonia batteries beyond the point that a conventional charger could recharge. Rechargeable lithium batteries start and stay at 1.5v until they are dead. For electronic locks this means the battery and lock could go dead without warning. Which is why Yale does not recommend these batteries. Unless you carry your key with you, you could get locked out. I have 3 of these locks so I am willing to take the chance that not all 3 will go out at the same time.

Holding Charge over a year!
ASTONISHED! Bought Nov. ’23. Used in mini LED lights then. Did not recharge. Most (22 of 24) still had very high charge when tested prior to use for Dec. 2025!

Good and reliable
We use these at church in our wireless devices (mics and mic packs). I'd say they last about 2 years before they start throwing up errors in our charger and then we recycle them which is just as well because after 2 years our Pastor gets antsy and wants to get rid of them anyway! They're good and reliable and definitely suit our needs. We have purchased numerous times.

Larger than a normal AA and don’t fit
They do not fit in the space of a normal AA battery. I have a camera that needs four AA batteries and unfortunately these are bigger than a normal AA and do not fit. I’ve tried it on other items as well. I would not recommend anyone to order them as they are not going to fit in whatever device you’re putting them in
