NearMoon Rain Shower Head, Ultra-Thin Design-Pressure Boosting, Awesome Some Experience, High Pressure High Flow Stainless Steel Rainfall Shower Head (10 Inch, Chrome Gold)

I replaced a comparable Moen shower head with this one a couple of weeks ago. The Moen leaked profusely from the top edge from day 1, but getting a warranty replacement was impractical due to it having been purchased by my remodeling contractor, with whom I severed all ties as soon as the project was complete enough to do so. What an idiot he was. Anyway, I digress. Leaky waterfall-y showers became the norm and life was good. Getting motivated to replace the shower head was difficult because the prices on name brand products are so high. I decided to take a chance on this one, if only to buy some time for me to repair the Moen with some JB Weld. Simple installation given that it came with all tools necessary to do the job, and it was leak-free from the get-go. Now that the NearMoon is in place, I’m asking Why did I wait so long?!!! This thing is excellent. Very solid and sturdy, beautifully finished, producing a luxurious drenching rain, with zero drips after the water is turned off. This is truly transformative for my shower in the best possible way. Note that the flow is not restricted in this high pressure model. I have been using about 1/5 of the control valve’s range so I don’t run through my hot water. If your valve is just off/on and you have a lot of water pressure, you might be left looking for a way to limit the flow to preserve your hot water. This thing flows like nobody’s business. But with the valve setup I’ve got, I’m really enjoying this thing. Now I need some motivation to repair the Moen. Probably not going to happen.

My first rain head died (sprung a leak) after 7 years. This one has a very nice finish, sprays well (I’m clean!), and is a solid value.

This shower head is phenomenal value for money. It is metal, looks exactly as pictured, sleek and mirror-shiny, installs in seconds, effortlessly, and performs "as you would expect." If you dislike it, and you might, it's because of your expectations. I got the 10 inch version. As the picture shows, the water exits the head in a perfectly straight line. So, a 10 inch head results in 10 inch diameter cylinder of water all the way down. That is... sufficient. You might opt for the larger versions for something more luxuriouus. But...the reason I got the 10 inch was that I thought it would be most appropriate for my medium water pressure. I figured too many nozzles would spread out the water too much. Here's the thing: ultimately, this is a "rain shower." The water doesn't drip out, but it doesn't spray out either. It comes out as a steady stream out of each nozzle, as droplets. It is a GENTLE shower. That's fine, and there's plenty of water, as other reviewers note. It's not a dripping rain, but it's not a drenching downpour either. I think these are best with high water pressure and larger sizes. As the five stars indicate, though, I'm quite happy with the purchase.

Wonderful shower head my wife was ecstatic over it when I had installed it.First me I like strong shower pressure I did not use the one attachment that goes in the head to lower the water use. This will be up to the individual that wish to use this feature.

Great value for a rain shower head. This thing puts out a lot of water if you have good pressure, I had to get a flow valve for it to conserve water

THIS is the true definition of a "Rainfall Shower head" !!! If you're looking for lots of water flow, this is the one !!!!

Like all merchandise that is rated early after initial use, it is hard to know how it will function in the long term. My initial evaluation is that it looks good, does give the rain shower I wanted, and is priced much lower than others I have looked at.
