Nordic Ware Microwave Splatter Cover, 8-Inch, Clear

Absolutely happy with this product especially compared to the last one I had...its a good size...fits over all my plates etc well...very good quality...and it has a guarantee on it (provided you register it online)...!!!

Nach dem ersten längerem erhitzen in der Mikrowelle ist es zu einem „Schmoren“ gekommen- Bei dem Preis hätte ich das nicht erwartet. Die Lieferung hat 26 Tage gedauert- war aber auch angegeben.

It’s small (8” in diameter) but it does the job of keeping my microwave interior clean.

My first thought was it seems thin and fragile, easily breakable. However; so far so good. We use this product daily. No mess no nothing. It's simple fits the plates well seems to be just the right size, easily washable and it gets used constantly. More importantly, the wife loves it, no more microwave explosions to clean! I think it was the chili incident that prompted me to buy this item and yes it was I that did it. I now have my microwave privileges restored as long as I use this cover. We have yet to accidentally drop it to see how it stands up to that. Other than that, I can't find a single reason not to own one of these if you own a microwave you will love this product! UPDATE: Nordic Ware says its BPA free! enough with the BPA warnings they do not apply to this product. We have used this for 7 months now without issue! Seems like the vast majority of the reviews agree this is a great product. Sure there will always be a few people who encounter some sort of issue. I stand behind my recommendation at least until I run into any issue. I doubt I will but rest assured I will tell you about it. I will buy another if I ever need to. My favorite complaint was "it wont vent if you stack a dish on top of it". Hmmm, ya think? Of course it wont vent your covering the vent hole. Lets try and remember our reviews need to be fair or they are not helpful! Let's not blame the product for our stupidity. It's 11" people. It states that clearly. Those of you who are complaining, "it's not large enough for your plates". OK never mind I give up. You can't please everyone. However; like I said nearly all of us who reviewed this product love it! I'm not trying to put people down, I'm just trying to remind everyone reviews only work if they are fair and honest! If you have issues, fine tell us. Just make sure it's the products fault and not your own stupidity. Amend your review that are unfair to the company. Lets do our best to keep this review forum helpful and not allow it to become a useless sounding board like most of the others have been reduced too. Update: 3 years and it is still like new! This is worth a 5 star rating what was I thinking giving it 4 stars? I changed it to 5! update nearly 5 years old! This things awesome! update 7 years and still perfect. A great item. Update. 10 years yes still perfect.
