This motor and gear box works fine for my application.It is not a turnkey solution, but more like a kit.Take care: the multiprong plug connecting the controller to the motor is only labelled in Chinese. (English wire color order is on the controller.)Be sure the ground end of the plug matches up with the ground end of the socket. They are marked with a usual EARTH GROUND symbol. ⏚Additional warning:As my unit arrived, the plug and socket are the reverse of the way they should be, with the plug connected to the controller. This leaves one of the longish prongs electrically live (120v in my case) even when the switch on the controller is in the off position.I reversed the plug and socket (fiddly, but doable with care).At least, never plug the power cord in without the plug and socket connected. They do not lock together.The controller does not come with a reversing switch, though a reversing switch "L" is mentioned in the directions. It does not work right

I purchased a gear head motor that didn’t come with a mounting bracket. When I tried to order a bracket that would fit the bolt pattern of the motor I bought, I couldn’t find one anywhere on Amazon. I finally had to buy one that was too large and drill holes in the pattern I needed Fortunately the bracket had enough “meat” to allow the adjustment. Would have been much easier if the motor came with a matching bracket, thus avoiding all the hassles.

It works but not for what I was planning on using it for

This is my first time wrote the review, the product is not good, even the product you received was broken, you need to pay for your shipment. Think again again when you placing order, Not buy in this store.

This is advertised to rotate at 450 RPM, but it only spins at 380RPM. I also tested the motor itself without the gear reduction thinking they might have sent the wrong ratio, but the motor spins at 1130 rpm. fail.
