Totally new to piano this past month. I'd tried a music app, but I didn't feel I was advancing on a solid base. Just after using this book for 7 days, I feel much more informed and ready to move forward. The music theory is excellent, and the musical practice pieces are very clever and achievable. The book has an accompanying web site with superb videos and musical accompaniment. Can't fault it. I've also got the Christmas and Classical books first level. Setting sights for playing for my family at Christmas.

I'm just starting out on piano and after a few lessons to sort out my technique, I've been using the Faber book (along with classical 1) to continue my learning. There are also You Tube videos (independently made) that go through many of the exercises in the book.

Excellent book for beginning piano students. Even some of the easy pieces sound really good. A wide variety of pieces, highly recommended.

I hoped this would be much higher level and although it’s good I have got through it easily And used it as warm ups . It’s very basic so don’t expect any great challenges as there isn’t . If you can read basic music then perhaps aim for a bigger challenge

A beginner's intro to favourite classics for piano. Nothing intimidating here for easy playing. You can be guided by Piano With Beth on YouTube as she demonstrates how to play these easy classic pieces in books 1 & 2. There is a dictionary of musical terms in the back of the book. I love this book & recommend it to lovers of classical music.

All Faber books are wonderful, so well explained and with music so excellent, I really loved this book, and I can play all the songs, the arrangements are so perfect ¡¡¡

Wonderful selection of beautiful pieces! The arrangement is manageable for anyone who has completed the Faber “Adult piano adventure all-in-one piano course 1”. They are not too simplified and just challenging enough to motivate the learner. I just LOVE this book!
