Good alternative to full size coffee maker for power outages
We picked up this coffee maker to use during power outages since its electrical draw at 950 watts is significantly reduced from that of our daily use coffee maker. We wanted something to use with solar generators in the event of a power outage, and this fits that need.I was able to brew a nice cup of coffee (there is no indication in the included literature as to the brewing temperature, which is not adjustable, so i cannot be sure whether it is similar to our regular maker, but it was hot enough to brew an enjoyable cup of coffee) using one of our solar generators.So in the event of an outage (our last such outage lasted 15 hours last fall) we can enjoy coffee just as we would otherwise. I could probably run our regular maker instead, but it would deplete our generator more rapidly. It did take a bit longer to dispense the coffee, but considering that my regular machine preheats the water then brews, whereas this one does it all as part of the one-touch process, it really wasn't a significant overall difference.This was simple to use - just add desired ground coffee to the filter basket, or insert a K-Cup into the designated holder, insert into the unit, add desired water (there are "steps" in the water reservoir to indicate the amount of water already added as you fill) anywhere from 6 to 14 ounces, close the lid, press the button on the front bottom, and the water heats, and coffee is dispensed (don't forget to place a suitable cup or mug to catch the coffee!) The machine dispenses all of the water before shutting off. And it can run a self-clean cycle as desired/needed. If you add a bit of vinegar to the water per the instructions it can help avoid scaling in the machine.All things considered this machine works pretty nicely. I'll still with my full size machine for everyday use, but in a pinch I wouldn't hesitate to plug this in and brew some coffee!

Great slim single cup coffee maker
I bought this after my other slim coffee pot with working. This coffee pot is fast brewing and makes a great cup of coffee or tea (I like stronger tea so I steep my afterwards). It’s great to be able to switch out the baskets that come with it for coffee or tea. My tea basket didn’t hold up and broke. So I ordered stainless steel baskets to put into the coffee basket which work like a charm (Cafe Flow Stainless Steel Reusable Metal Coffee Pod Refillable Filter Cup - Compatible with Keurig 1.0, 2.0 K-Slim(1-Stream) K-Mini K-Duo & Select Single K Cup Coffee Makers(See Compatibility Chart - (try to catch these on sale here on Amazon! They are are great as well - I searched for a good match and they work well with this coffee pot. I don’t have a lot of counter space and this coffee pot is perfect for that and I love it so much I ordered a second one for a spare since it’s so hard to find coffee pots like this that work so well with versatility and are so slim. Horrible - this design leaks BADLY. Very unlike Chefman's other products. I just threw it out.
I'm disappointed to have to write this, but I need to warn other customers. This design leaks terribly. I had previously bought a 1-k-cup Chefman coffee maker and loved it - used it at home and when camping. It never failed, always did a perfect job. I wanted to leave that one in camper so I bought this one for house, thinking it would be same. Boy was I wrong. From the start, it would lead from coffee brewing point back into the reservoir tank and - at worst - it would at times lead out over the edge and I'd have to clean up the counter. This one is likely going in the trash. It looks like they tried to make it fancier and failed. Chefman: Your original design was GOOD. PLEASE don't try to fix what's not broken.Updating my review: After several failed attempts to fix the problems myself (torn rubber hose connecting water tube to needle; bad seal around the k-cup), I finally just THREW IT OUT. This is literally the only Amazon item I've every had to just discard. AWFUL

What bad after four months but manufacturer sent me a new one.
This is a great little coffee maker, and I really liked the way it had multiple fill levels so it would make any size cup of coffee you want. After four months, it started just making steam and would no longer brew a cup of coffee. I contacted the manufacturer through Amazon and they had me send them info from under the coffee maker, and a video of what it was doing. After a few emails they sent me a new coffee maker so hopefully this new one will last longer because it’s really convenient and makes just about instantly. No wait time. For me, the manufacturer came through. So even though my first one went bad I would still recommend this product..

Great coffee maker and great customer service.
I love this coffee maker but most of all I love the customer service. After using the machine daily for about six months, the lid that tops the coffee ground holder came off. This is a small piece that fits into the machine and actually it still worked by just placing the lid on top before inserting into the machine and closing the top. I contacted the seller through Amazon - Get product support option. I was actually looking for a replacement grounds holder. Customer support responded and said they would send me a new part. They said there was a problem with back orders and it might take awhile. After about 2 months I asked for an update. They responded that due to the unfortunate delay, they were sending me a brand new machine. I received it today and wanted to acknowledge that in this day of horrible customer service, this company stands out.

quit working
Purchased in April. Stopped working correctly in June. Regardless of setting, makes about a 1/4 cup and stops. I have thoroughly cleaned, tried several different pods and ground coffee. All the same. Waiting to hear if they will replace it or not. Liked it when it worked. update 7/24/25: I received an email yesterday saying they were sending a replacement. If there are any problems I will update again. I am happy with their response
