Our Damask Tapestry Chenille Fabric is a thick type of fabric ideal for upholstery,wall paper, sofas, chairs, ottomans drapery and so much more. Easy to clean and washable as well. The background of this fabric is made from Chenille which has a fuzzy texture like velvet but has thicker fibers and is not as soft. This lovely chenille jacquard fabric is heavyweight features a low luster sheen and is perfect for upholstery projects heavier draperies valances cornice boards and even duvet covers and toss pillows. Colors may due to differences in screen settings.

Requires a bit of pre-care to use.
This is a very nice luxury chenille damask fabric. But it seemed dusty and warehouse stored. Web research revealed a fix and with a wish and a prayer worked out great despite many articles saying you can not wash chenille damask. - Wash the material in the kitchen sink in cool water with laundry soap. Rinse and repeat until the fabric rinses come out clean. Then put the wet fabric in your washing machine and run 3 times on the drain and spin cycle..at which point it is only mildly damp. Immediately go iron on a low setting on the inside of the fabric until dry with repeated passes through the length of the fabric. I had a large piece 6 yards long and use as a table cloth for the holidays as it is thick and soft underneath to protect the table's surface. Should last for years of service.

As Expected for Color if you look at it in the light
I bought this fabric with my own funds, it was not a free product.This was sent in a plastic mailed within another plastic mailer so be extra careful when you cut it open that your do not cut the fabric. The silver is extremely silver in the evening and a muted silver or champagne silver in the daylight which is just like the product photos. This does not feel like 100% chenille fabric as the silver decor portion does not feel like any chenille I have ever felt. I did not expect a lot with the price point but it looks nice for seat covers.

Beautiful fabric. I’ve not used it for anything aside from throw pillows so I can speak to the durability as far as upholstery, drapes, etc but it truly is beautiful.

Beautiful clith
I love this upholstered material. I originally bought it to upholster 2 oriental chairs. I did that n also upholster a queen Ann chair n stool. This is my second reorder the material was so nice I ordered again to upholster another chair. I’m obsess with the look of the material. I don’t know how strong or good will hold up but so far it’s holding up good.

Beautiful elegance - Again.
Fast shipping and shown, wonderful heavy fabric. Wanted bespoke pillows for our new remodeled library. The green was a perfect fit for the space and place. Our local tailor did the sewing and design and could not be happier. Will and already have ordered more, this time in red for an antique chair also in the room.

Very luxurious fabric.
I purchased this fabric to reupholster my husband's TV chair. My upholsterer told me that it seemed to be sturdy fabric. Only time we'll tell how well it holds up. It is beautiful fabric! Very satisfied with the results!!!!
