Best buy as first time parents
My baby loves this toy, honestly the most played and so much fun. Great quality and built well. The balls are great and used to throw and crawl to get. Mixed with this toy and my child loves it!

Love this interactive whale, safe sturdy and lots of fun
We love this product! Such a sweet idea, I love that the push down component cannot trap their fingers unlike other products I’ve seen. The songs are great and it’s very interactive, I love that there are different coloured balls to help teach colours. It’s been a great toy to help with hand and eye coordination but also in helping to get our little girl crawling (she’s so fast now!). The only thing I would say is they may need you to hold it down so it doesn’t hit them as they try to grab it but older children will be just fine on their own,(our daughter is only 7 months old so pulls everything over). I would highly recommend this toy to others. We have had a lot of fun with this interactive whale.

Do not buy.
I have had 2 of these- the original one had a mechanism that held the balls inside the giraffe’s neck until all 5 were “eaten” and then a lever released all of them while a song and light sequence played. The motor that made the original giraffe I bought spin in circles eventually had a gear slip and it no longer spun, making it kind of boring to play with. The company has since removed that lever and now they just roll out directly onto the floor, as the ball hold mechanism clearly kept breaking, so they just removed the feature and still charge over £50. It’s not totally terrible but I’d look elsewhere for a toy- this one will probably end up breaking on you.

Great toy, but pricey. Not enough balls provided
My son absolutely loves this little whale. I think like with any toy, some kids will like it and others won’t. The functionality is quite simple, put ball through top cylinder, push cylinder and ball comes out of whales mouth. I originally thought the ball will shoot out as soon as it’s inserted, which would’ve been more fun in my opinion, however it this way it is better at teaching cause and effect (I.e insert ball then press “button” = ball comes out). The songs are nice and cheery, sea chants you could say, and there are two volume options. The quality is very nice and the toy feels high quality with great finishes, so you do get what you pay for in terms of quality. As it really is just a very simple toy, I’m not entirely sure it’s good value for money, even if it is well made with good mouldings. I have knocked off a star as only 3 little balls are supplied, after a few weeks we are down to 1 ball, and there’s no way to buy a replacement - realistically you could probably find appropriately sized balls which will also fit, but I just think it should come with at least 6 balls.

Great toy
Well worth the money, very sturdy and well made. Have had it 18 months and I have not needed to change the batteries. Big hit with my grandson.

Excellent toy
Bought for my nephew for his first birthday - he loves it, keeps him entertained for quite a while. His older brother who is 3 also enjoys it, the only issue is they try and put other things than balls into the spout, but it’s easy enough to get them back out..

Nice addition to toy collection
My nephew enjoys playing with this at 9 months. He’s too young to understand what to do with the balls, but nevertheless enjoys the sounds and likes to move the bus along with his hands. Pretty colours. I wouldn’t say it’s a very obviously an elephant design though.
