Q: Is this grass okay for Arizona,s dry climate.

No. The grass is similar to a winter rye grass that that does OK in the cooler winter months, but died in Texas as soon as it got hotter and dry. I would not recommend this grass for any southern hot and dry climate.

Hi, I am so I can't give you percentages of mix. The seeds are covered with a blue coating of fertilizer, which stays on for about 5 days even watering 3 times a day. This also keeps the birds from eating 20% of it. This is the 5th bag I have ordered as I have 1/3 acre of all weeds and dirt when I recently bought my house. It is an excellent blend and covers very well and spreads out and fills in. I have large areas that get 90% shade and it grows almost as fast as the seeds in full sun. Very happy with this seed. Can't tell you the blend, but it looks beautiful and no weeds at all. The grass comes up fast and full. I think You would be very happy with this product. Sincerely, Mark

Q: how long does it usually take to germinate?

There is a mixture of varieties of seed in this Blend. Each seed varieties have a different germination rate. Germination (where the seedling breaks out of its seed coat) is as follows with proper soil preparation and the top 1/2 inch of soil kept moist until established. Do NOT just throw seed on bare ground. Most of the permanent seeds will fully establish itself in 6-8 weeks. More below: • Ky Bluegrasses: 14-30 days (Permanent/Slowest Growing) • Creeping Red Fescues: 5-14 Days (Permanent/Shade/Slow Growing) • Perennial Ryegrasses: 3-10 Days (Temporary/Fast Growing/Upright)
