Excellent and easy.
These are excellent and so much easier that those that don’t have the pass through. My sanity saved and so much quicker. I have wired the whole house with cat 6 and these cut the project time in half. Highly recommend.

Simple to use
Found these CAT6 plugs easy to use. Saves time as you see immediately that the wires are in the correct position without the need to check with a magnifying glass. No fiddly bits as found in other connectors.

Easy to use
Much easier to use than at standard RJ45 you can see there is no crossover of wires, I was using them with cat5e

A fantastic Fail Safe connector, but not so sure on the EZ
I'm no expert or professional at making ethernet connections, but also no novice - having made a good 20+ Cat6 cables in the past for around the home. With traditional RJ45 connectors, you can sometimes make seemingly perfect plugs - that work and pass the test, but later discover one of the wires didn't get pushed all the way to the end and (after some movement along the cable) that one of the wires slipped down and was never quite making full contact with its copper pin.Solution? Save yourself all the hassle - Buy yourself some professionally ready made cables! Heh.OR....Try these EZ Platinum connectors.I was hoping that these would be, not only the answer to my (sometimes) failed connector, but would also speed up the the entire process of making a cable with the simplicity of passing through the wires, crimping and then trimming them. I can do a normal RJ45 connection from stripping a cable to crimping in 5-6 minutes. These EZ connectors should make the process quicker - right?Reality is that you get a trade off.Yes, once you have threaded through the wires, you can easily confirm that they are in the correct order. And because the wires pass all the way through the EZ RJ45 connector, you know that once it's been crimped, those individual wires are making full contact with each respective copper pin. All you then have to do is trim off the excess and away you go!However, it's getting to that stage that's the problem. As mentioned, I've made 40+ individual RJ45 connections in the past with no initial problems and I played around with some trial assemblies of these EZ connectors - but each EZ plug has taken me about 4-6 attempts before managing to get the wires through without them coming out in the wrong order or one or two simply getting squished or curled up inside when pushing them through. It helps having a substantial amount of wire length to play with (a minimum of 35-40mm) - resulting in a lot more wastage than when using a traditional RJ45 plug. I've tried spraying them, cutting them flush before inserting them and even at a 45 degree angle in the hope of finding a smooth technique. Clearly there is a knack to the process, but so far not one that I've found - and currently taking 2-3 times as long as I normally would do compared with the non-EZ variety.[Photos taken are of various try-outs]Conclusion is that I wouldn't be so quick to recommend these as 'EASY' connectors, but I would do so as 'FAIL SAFE' connectors. Once the wires are through and it's been crimped - you know you've got a secure and long lasting connector - Is that a trade off that matters to you?UPDATE: 2 years on from since first using these, I have not had a single failure in loose wires. Still a pain in trimming off the excess once crimped (without the proper tool), but 100% reliable. Have actually now replaced nearly all my older style connectors with these pass through connectors!

Possibly great if you have the right crimpers, not good otherwise
These are relatively easy to install and the wires do push through quite nicely, the trouble I had was my crimpers don't cut the excess off so I had to do that with a knife afterwards then quite often found that the connector wouldn't click into the socket and could therefore fall out

really good, foolproof! (horrible price)
horribly expensive but still cheaper than wasting time and money on connectors that may or may not work... trim the overhang with a box cutter, but only one conductor at a time for excellent results.

Not recommended
I failed to fit these plugs to a Cat6a S/FTP cable. After slotting the conductors though the holes in the end of the plug I found they would still come out of place and end up touching each other or even crossing over before I could use the proper crimping tool. This plug may be ok with a thinner Cat5 unshielded TP cable.
