Great product, much better than can/bottle opener, doesn't damage film canister for reuse

This thing works, but I find that it slips off of the film canister and it takes quite a few tires to get it to pop the canister lid off. It's ok but I'd recommend something else.

I have always managed without this tool, but I stumbled on it and it works great. I love it. It fits comfortably in the hand and has a pleasing weight. It takes some stress out of developing films.

Nice to have
This grips 35mm canister tops better than any bottle opener I've tried. Pretty good to know when your in the dark. Comfortable grip and nice quality.

Doesn’t catch on the canister edge enough to easily pry off lid.
This doesn’t really work. The edge that’s supposed to pry off the lead does not catch on the edge enough to be able to pry it off. Any regular bottle opener kitchen will work 10 times better.

This works great for all 35mm canisters I have tried. Has a very ergonomic handle that is easy to manipulate in complete darkness in the dark room.
