Excellent quality PSU with ATX 3.0, silent operation and rock solid stability
Been using this PSU for the past four months in my new built with 7800X3D and RTX 4090. It's been absolute rock solid stability and not had a single issue or crash from power instability. The native ATX 3.0 cable allows for a clean build without the need for adaptors. The fan is also silent even whilst gaming. The cables are very flexible and individually sleeved making them easy to route around the case. Since its completely modular, I can just plug in what I need to keep cable management to a minimum. It also comes with a 10 year warranty which provides peace of mind and it can be moved over to the next build as well. The only downside is the price which is slightly on the expensive side. But if you are looking for a high wattage premium quality platinum power supply, I will recommend this MSI MEG Ai 1300P.

Great
Great modular PSU with enough power for the RTX 5090 and a Ryzen 9 9950X3D and with plenty of room to spare for future upgrades. It also comes with a GPU cable whereby you don't have to use the ridiculous 4 way splitter cable and its just one neat modular cable that goes from the PSU to the GPU. Very happy with this GPU.

Great PSU
Bought this PSU to ensure my new build gaming PC will have enough juice to handle (ultimately) an RTX 4080 Super. Looks great, feels great, easy to fit and the modular cables mean my case contains only the cables I need for my chosen hardware. A bit pricey, but worth it for the build quality that I'm used to getting with MSI products. So far, so fantastic!

Peak quality and performance
The best 1000W+ PSU you can buy. The PSU itself looks and feels very well made and the same goes for the included cables. The ability to monitor the power draw via MSI Centre is a great and often overlooked feature in a PSU. Can't go wrong buying this.

Very quiet, great quality cables and good software integration.
Excellent power supply that's much quieter than any other ATX 3.0/ PCIE 5.0 PSU I've used, with really nice individually braided cables and good integration with MSI centre that lets you see key stats like output power consumption and temperature, as well as some fan control.

Do not Buy or Recommend
I rarely write reviews but I feel like I need to precaution others before purchasing. First off, I purchased this PSU from a different retailer. However, I had once ordered this from Amazon, and they never seem to have this product in store for months. Hence I purchased this product from another store. Now I'm moving onto my experience with this PSU. I needed a powerful PSU with a depth of 160cm because of the design of my case. I appreciate the compact size and the design looks great. It comes along with decent plastic cable manager, though I wish they had included Velcro tape, considering its price. I hardly used the real time monitor to observe the power usage, however the mini USB cable is very loose and it slips off very easily from the slot. It worked great when I installed it. I've purchased this in February 2023 and it broke in October 2023, so it lasted for only 9 months. I was simply using the internet until I heard a puff sound (I believe it was the capacitor exploded) and the whole computer switched off by itself. My motherboard had lights powered on but the computer itself couldn't boot. I had no idea at the time, so I had to take apart my computer to figure out if it was the motherboard or PSU. You can see the video I've shared, the PSU makes a clink noise when powered on and the fan doesn't run. Once I figured it was the PSU, I contacted MSI warranty. The MSI warranty service is terrible. First, you have to sign up for an account to claim a warranty. Also you have to have evidence of receipt, photos, videos to prove the hardware doesn't work. It took about 1-2 days to get a reply, and the MSI warranty service told me to contact my retailer instead. I'll summarised what happened next, I contacted my retailer and they had sent my PSU to MSI repair centre and I never heard back from them for 4 months, luckily I was able to get a refund from my retailer instead.

Great PSU
1300W is overkill for sure, however it's very solid build from expensive components. Been a little upset to find the price dropped for 80 euros once I just recieved mine. However did not return it. Love this PSU and it's very great feature to see your usage in MSI Center app. Higly recommend this PSU. Just wait for a good price offer.

Impressive
Item well packed and safely delivered. No issues or problems with seller. Built a new system in 2023 and upgrading components and decided to leave the PSU as last thing on list. Having had mostly MSI build, decided to go with this to complete the look Performance wise it's good and dedicated pin for current (N) GPU is nice. A decent upgrade to a 10+ year old PSU. Overall satisfied.

bought MSI MEG 1300w for my new 5090 msi build. feels like a serious piece of hardware right out of the box. It’s solid, n heavy, and clearly well made, with premium capacitors and clean modular connectors. The sleeved cables look great and make cable routing simple and tidy. the little clips are very useful as well. In use, it’s dead silent most of the time—the fan rarely turns on, and evven when it does, it’s barely noticeable. Power delivery is rock steady, and everything about it feels engineered for long term reliability. the ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 support means it’s ready for any modern MSI setup without other cables. It’s not the cheapest PSU, but you can tell where the money goes: build quality, stability, and silence. The 10-year warranty is great too. use for 1 more build for sure.

Using the MSI MEG Ai1300P PCIe5 with my Ryzen 9 9800X3D and RTX 5080 Founders Edition — and it's been flawless so far. My build has 11 fans, and this PSU handles everything effortlessly. No coil whine, no hiccups, and the power delivery is stable even under heavy loads. The fully modular braided cables are a nice touch — high quality, flexible, and easy to manage during installation. The PCIe 5.0 support makes it future-proof for upcoming GPUs as well. Highly recommended if you're building a top-tier rig and want peace of mind with clean, reliable power.

Unlike many PSUs in the 1000+ watt range, this one maintains the small form factor of lower-powered PSUs, and it does so without getting overheated. Granted, I'm running an i7-13700k with my trust old GTX 1080ti, but still. One of the other major selling points of this PSU is that it has a dedicated 12V rail for your GPU. I have no issue running my old 1080ti on it and now I'm future-proofed for an eventual upgrade to an RTX 4090. Full modularity is always great, of course, and this PSU comes with plenty of cables for every type of connection you might need (except IDE, but you're spending way too much on a PSU if you're using this for a retro PC, lol). Also, I know some reviews of this PSU say that can get a little noisy under heavy loads, but I've yet to experience that. However, that could also be because I'm already running a huge air-cooling setup and can't hear the PSU's fan. Having a whisper-quiet PC has never been a concern for me, anyway. I will say, it would be nice if MSI had used a 140mm fan rather than a 120mm, as the chassis of this PSU certainly could accommodate it. A minor design criticism, ultimately. My only other criticism is that with a bottom-mounted, fan-down installation, there's a big information sticker that's highly visible on the face-up side. This doesn't affect anything, it just looks ugly. I don't know where else you'd put such a sticker, though, given that there's minimal real estate for one, but you'd think that as a gaming-oriented PC hardware manufacturer, MSI would've considered that many gamers care almost as much about aesthetics in their builds as they do performance. As far as PSU's go, it's a nice-looking box, other than that damn sticker. I certainly wouldn't pass on this PSU for that, though. This thing is a beast and a great choice, despite being on the pricey end, that will future-proof your system. Also, that sticker could relatively easily be removed if you so chose to do so. Overall, 5/5, highly recommended.
